this. the ONLY thing i felt bad about is what u mentioned. why would anyone be disappointed in human being just wanting tom rest? especially when they worked like machines. i really support their decision. to me this video was only positive knowing they're doing something about it. they worry about armys opinion only here which means to me, there is nothing they need to worry about. i cried so much out of relief as for so many years now i've wished they'd just get a rest. I was waiting for this desperately. I already expected it 100% but i still can't believe how these down to earth people kinda feel bad for saying things someone should be able to say without any worries. you're tired? say so. you're exhausted? say so. you want to rest and get a clear mind? say so. NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO JUDGE YOU. OR BE DISAPPOINTED. i swear i'd even wait for them until i'm a granny. pls i just want them to not think they have to refrain from saying normal ass stuff. and imo they alrady kinda did that. and i hope other people can use it as an example of how honesty is important to grow, to give more detail into how this industry and the mind of an artist can work. may they rest (even though they still be working) and come back even better. i already know chapter 2 bts is going to slap. I think we can only get closer back to the innerest of what bts is.
This really was a roller-coaster of emotions. The fact that they were feeling so vulnerable and didn't know what direction to go in breaks my heart. I feel so guilty and selfish knowing we were waiting for a world tour announcement when they going through this. I have so much respect for them. I am so proud of them. I love them so much. And I will always support all seven of the members wholeheartedly.

If you really had no clue, then you shouldn't feel guilty, but I understand feeling badly that you would ever do something that would cause harm to someone you care about. That is normal.

It was so overwhelming, Army's are crying, But we are also happy that they are taking a hiatus. Coz they have been constantly working for 9 yrs for us. They must be worn out. Don't worry ARMY, BTS will still be doing group activities like run bts together, they are just taking a break from making new group songs for a while. Instead they will each release a solo album to grow as individuals in order to make even better music afterwards together for ARMYs!
BTS being genuinely kind and sincere people are one of the many reasons why ARMY are so protective over BTS. so many people will say we are over protective and they are probably right but with the amount of shit they have to go through we have very good reason to be. they deserve this break so much and i hope with all my heart that gives them all the peace and happiness they so desperately deserve. 💜

There comes a point in life where they must put themselves first and I totally understand that. I was feeling a little upset at first, I've never even seen them live and it's been my dream to. But, their happiness comes first. I sobbed through this video, I just hope they get rejuvenated in the way they need and come back stronger and I hope they stay true to themselves. It's amazing that they've realized that their music isnt reflecting what they want and the message they wanna give. It's amazing they dont even want to be that insincere to army. They are taking a break for making group music for a while to focus on their solo projects , but not group activities, such as commercials, ads, shows and so on will still continue. They aren't disbanding or not in hiatus jk cleared this matter on his VLive.
They said that they need to recharge their selves that's why they have to take a break from making group music for the meantime but will be back soon after all members will release their albums. Schedule on members solo projects would be announced soon. They just take a break but will continue individual and group projects balanced.

You know the whole time I was watching this, a thought kept popping into my head. I remember being on tiktok and hearing another content creator ask what is the hardest part about being a K-pop stan. And a beautiful creator answered that being more a part of the problem than the solution is the hardest thing. And all I could think of was the fact that we wanted them to tour and make more music. People complained about Dynamite Butter and Permission to Dance... People complained about PTD on Stage.... So many people complained about the fact that we were only getting a few new songs on this album and about it being an anthology. And the whole time they are literally cruising toward a burnout, pushing through just for us, and feeling so torn and tormented inside. This is what that creator meant. We were the reason behind them not being able to take this break sooner and them feeling guilty for wanting and needing to take time for themselves. And probably for the first time we are able to give them something without them having to give to us first. We can show them that nothing will ever change the love that we have for them. That when you sign up to be ARMY it's for life 💜. And every army is a ot7 Stan, so we're going to support each and everyone of them as individuals just as we do when they're a group.
I'm so glad that they're taking a break and pursuing things that make them happy individually. This it was long overdue and even in the end they are more concerned about disappointing us and asking us for support and our blessing for them to focus on themselves,...that speaks volumes! I will miss them performing as a unit but if they never do perform as the members of BTS again, I'm so thankful for everything they've done over the last 10 years. I truly wish them nothing but the best and for full healing and happiness to reach their souls 💜
i think it should be okay for army to talk ABOUT the music but we got no business talking about when and how they release content. like imagine being so greedy you're telling some of the busiest people ever that you want more. all these years since i'm an army, so many times, i have desperately wished for them to finally announce they're resting. I swear as long as they feel better. I'd go rest without feeling any shame if I was them. I'm more frustrated (still extremely grateful since they are honest) about how they feel even bad for wanting a rest. may they just do what they want to do and come back even better.

In a way I'm actually quite excited for this whole thing. I could kind of feel a change in sincerity in their recent work and also had a bit of a BTS burnout that slowly started around the Butter era. As stated, it's not like they're breaking up or that their group activities are going to stop completely. We'll get more musical content (SEVEN whole albums!!!) and the return of Run BTS as well. Sure, we want BTS to be as a group, but I'm so so happy that they've made this decision for themselves, and in the long run, ARMY as well since they will be able to perform and create art with more sincerity and passion when they get together again. Maybe it's also just because I'm a blink as well and the four members being together is like a special occasion but whatever lol. The only thing deliberately sad about this is that they've been feeling this way since post-ON era, which is a long time to be suffering with this. To have this many people look up to you, to be at your absolute best and then suddenly losing your identity after fighting for it for so long sounds horrible. I'm sure this next period is going to be very interesting, fun and new to BTS and ARMY.

I’ve been teary for their exhaustion since yesterday. They have worked so hard for us and I love them so much. Tae knew this was coming and stayed up on vlive to watch the live show remind us they are still with us. JK went on Vlive to remind it’s ok today. Our maeknaes are stepping up to show Army love while the Hyungs are feeling emotional. Let’s keep supporting these beautiful chaotic guys in chapter 2 solo albums and rest we hope.

In addition to being exhausted from the pace they work at, they’re under so much pressure. They’ve been the biggest earner for Big Hit/HYBE for years, and are even called out as huge contributors to the economy of their country. The whole COUNTRY. That’s just crazy and must feel so overwhelming at times. They deserve a break and to figure out what they want to do. This was amazing, and even though they still keep a lot close to their hearts, they share so much with us. And I hope their openness and prioritizing their wellbeing sets a good example for other groups.
Seeing them cry always gets me, but seeing them talk about how tired they’ve been really hurts.

I’m really glad that they’re taking a rest for a while… Honestly for the past couple years(covid-19) I’ve been listening to our songs from earlier albums(of course I do listen since the debut..but especially I’m struggling like others after the lockdown)… I was really blessed when they released Be album…Dynamite,Butter PTD,Film out… but I really treasure every single of their work… So I’m truly glad 😭😭😭🫧
Honestly already figured out what they was going to do before this dinner cause I noticed how they set up the new album putting old songs from different albums together what confirmed my theory was the new songs from the album yet to come and run BTS basically said it all but of course I'm sad but I love them so I'm for them they are not disbanding just working on there solo albums and other things they will be fine they went through a lot of stress all these years they need time to them selves after all them Years living together and everything that why they live separately now

Living together like a family establishes the foundation of a very special bond but also means competition.. fighting a little harder to maintain space and boundaries etc...living apart takes the emphasis off boundaries and space etc..it's so sad but it's the natural order of things..as in any family...kids grow up move out..hybe is kinda like mom and dad's house...just have to hope and have faith they'll never forget where home is or each other no matter where their journeys take them.

Our seven boys really do need break because they have work so hard to achieve their goals and music. Us Army's are really going to miss our seven boys a lot, but I know one thing is for sure we will be here waiting to spend the next chapter together again. Thank you BTS and Army's for the wonderful year's we spent together 💜💜💜💜 😢.
They aren't on hiatus jk said they are just on a break to recharge themselves and create good quality music. But that doesn't mean they would not work on group activities. As jk said they would still continue with their group activities since there are so many left to do and also focus on their individual projects ❤️💜
There shows would still be continue, also commercial, photoshoot and so on would still continue but group music would be on break for now.

There was a mistranslation BTS are not going in hiatus Suga said they are on break. They will each release an album and still film Run BTS and do other activities together some won't be filmed. They need this for mental health and obviously they are in their prime they may want to find love, that's if they haven't already.I Wouldn't be surprised if 1 or 2 of them were already married but as Jimin said they can't tell us everything. They will come back together as BTS because they are not disbanding at all. I was heartbroken because they were holding all this inside them for 2 years and have agonised about telling us. I will be watching over them always. They will be back and it will be epic.

I think they should do their solo stuff and make 1 album per year as BTS and after completion of 2 albums as BTS ,they should do their World Tour, and can also show case some of their solo work in there.

My guy mates actually thought bts had it easy for them to make money because they’re all good looking and have so many talents and on top of that amazing performers but when we all watched this…yes I sat them down to watch this…they all realised how hard it was for them and all, my guy mates were actuall teary and relating so much to them in so many ways, they’re all fans of bts songs and performances but never really saw the behind the scenes and raw side of them so this opened them up more to bts and opened a new level of respect for them.
I'm happy they didn't end up like other groups who were disrespected by their company and took their own choices into their own hand in a good positive note. It's not the end! Just a new beginning!

This is most definitely the best choice for BTS and ARMY. Them being on hiatus is probably the most happy and sad I’ve been for the group. But in the end it’s for the best. Love you all!
