Even as an amateur orchestral violin player (of many decades ...oh no I can't be that old...it's all in the mind, right?), I find this excerpt inspiring though very daunting due to the level of talent here....I mean really with NBB!!!!...OMG and the student, who is amazing!
Thank you -- Dankeschön...I can't wait to hear BPH live in Berlin someday soon...I'm here in San Fran Bay Area..have been to a few SFS concerts....latest was Stravinsky program and another with Hindemith and Rachman...in a next life, I want to be pianist/violinist both!!

I don't know playing violin, but I enjoy listening to it. Don't you feel the difference between the lady and Noah in regard to physical energy? For physical energy- wise, Noah's sound is much fuller, and it seems like taking much energy from the lady to achieve this.

She's immensity talented, however she's nervous. Noah exudes confidence, hence the fuller sound

Better technique, ABSOLUTELY!! And perhaps a better bow. But regarding the sound is all about technique.
