There's a coincidence! I just fettled a Technics SL-D202 for a charity shop for which I volunteer. It was impossible to get both 33 and 45 rpm to give a stationary strobe without adjusting the speed. I had to replace one of the trimpots.. I believe it sold, despite being without a dust cover.

good trick for megga tight screws like that a big pair of side cutters and go at the screw so the cutters bite into the side of the screw at 90 degree to the head if you see what i mean the tighter you grip the better purchase you have never fails and you leave the head in good condition to use the screw driver to fit , killapoise grease ( spelling impossible word ) havent seen any of that in a long time
