Hi, we looked everywhere for the trail head for this hike and couldn't find it. Did you have any problems? Any tips? Was the trail head near that old Lodge?
Yah, as you saw, we kinda got off track from the hike we planned to do. This Scarp Ridge Trail to 421 Trail Loop on AllTrails www.alltrails.com/trail/us/colorado/scarp-ridge-trail-to-421-trail-loop?sh=v4dskx will at least help you get most of the way! The parking is just below the lodge on a steepish hill. We just walked the ridge until we got to the lake overlook, then turned back. You can honestly make the trail shorter or longer. But such a pretty hike mid-summer!
