You've already eliminated the easiest of the competition. Midgame->endgame is when you start taking your opponents more seriously. However, when I still played this game, I struggled with the same thing.

Honestly I go through the same thing Brody, when I have a flow goin and have good dmg and kills I have tunnel vision, this makes me blindly push, we gotta snap out of that blind mode while things are going good bruh
I think that’s the indicator on Who’s going to be “the leader” or the one you must be aware of (of Course if those kills, are smart played skills)
Never rely on randoms because I once down Two enemies and the third one down and my random must been dumb because instead of attacking the third who is right beside himself he goes to res instead and then we died

I've recently started playing apex with my younger siblings and tip 1 is so true I've found myself doing better because I'm not relying on him at all and I've been cutting those 1v2s more often so thanks

The biggest problem is most randoms don't use ping system properly and sometimes they don't even respond to pings. That's exactly when I play solo get few kills and camp
When they go down and not ping where the enemy is.

The new LTM with solo queuing only, people are gonna hate. They’re all gonna get the true apex experience. There’s very few people out there that actually play as a team. Most are literally solos, only care for themselves. Spam ping when they’re knocked & wont even think about helping you when you’re down.

I’m ngl solo queuing with no fill into duo matches is hell. My KD is 0.94 but somehow I got a win by myself so I guess keep going even tho it’s pain man.
i wish it felt like something could help, but i'm so burnt out on solo-queuing and it's never going to change. even using mic, it's usually a nightmare trying to coordinate anything; and on top of that i'm so, so tired of being consistently teamed-up with sub-lvl 100s. it's not fun anymore.
think of your teammates as Cannon Fodder. greatest tip. you will ever learn

I only start to rely on my randoms as the game progresses. If they manage to pull their own weight until the 3rd/4th ring then they’ve earned my trust, in game.
It’s linear. Obviously I’m not gonna trust them in the first stages of the game.
All my team seems to care about is the vault 😂
know what your teamate weapon in the inventory tab
you don't want to run full close range when your team have 3030 or sentinel and you not want to have 3030 if your team have shotgun smg build, if you want to stick to your teamate and utilise ther existance, atleast as meat shield :D
now this is a good question. how do you get around inexperienced lifelines that res you in the open

I play solo queque because I learn more playing by myself then with friends with my friends all though I could have more kills have more wins I’m not looking for that I’m looking for improvement so I play alone most of the time

Every time I play my teammates just hit drop then run off and get killed by a team that’s actually sticking together and when I do follow it’s like every time I turn around their running off to some where’s else and I’m continuously trying to chase them to stay together and it’s annoying especially when they die in the first battle their in every time it’s killing the game for me since I don’t have friends who play with me and play by myself every time I play

My friends do not play apex So i also either solo queue or just dont queue with teamates cause sometimes i can do better alone then with the randoms

Farthest I could get this season in Ranked Solo is Plat 3 it’s all luck imo most people play different.
Well with all do respect those tipps are nice for sure in theory but they dont mean shit if you solo queue because no friends are on and you play against preds and highkill masters every game and most of those times your teammate is level 10 and new to the game how is that fair

I'm unashamed to say it's a skill issue.
I'm the definition of a casual player. I'll play a few days here and there, with occasional steaks of a week or 2. My KD is a terrible 0.89😂
The point you're missing is that when they're is no room left in your game for casual players, the game WILL die.
Bc of the horrible MM, players like me are routinely feed to triple stacks of Plat+ players with more kills in one season on one legend then we have across our entire account😂
Balancing lobbies has been a breaking point topic for casuals since S4 when I started.
The casuals have long since gotten tired of waiting for respawn to make their matches fair and balanced, and have instead just moved on to other games.
If you truly like the game, you would encourage fair and actual SKILL BASED MM. 🤷♂️

Apex has a really good ping system so even if you dont want to talk (or like me have a hard time talking and shooting at the same time) at least use the ping system pls all randoms. 😅
This is really a game I don't feel like getting much better in. I watch it a lot (scrims) and normaly I am a mid fps player at best but I will get better the longer I play (COD/BF) .
And it is not really the strategy part (sure also not perfect) but the shooting can be all on target and the next fight all miss target. No clue why this game keep being a mistery to me:)

The thing with randoms is you ha e to always think that you can not go down because you cannot rely on your randoms at all

Solo queing is absolute HELL. But you just gotta have fun with it. Its a game... The more you cringe, the more painful it is. just treat it all like one big random party game like Mario Party and itl feel "fun"

Dude ranked right now is awful for solo que, I'm not very good but I got up to gold 2 relatively easy split 1, but this split im hard stuck in silver 4 getting fried nonstop by diamonds and masters while playing with people on 30 kill legends, how are guys with 3 diamond or masters badges still down in silver this late in the season? Or is it just that competitive now in ranked

If I see an octane I’m not following that due, 90% of the time they are just weird and will just die by themselves.
If a oppo wnt tries to bait revive on me, i just fake push da opponent n bait them to react.
Get some kill in the beggining and go rat-ing. There is two types of randoms. The one is the ultimate pusher. Doesn't care anything just run and shoot. Most of the time this type of player dies in seconds after landing. The other type is the guy who does nothing just loot and hide. The main game would be the in between of the two behaviour. After a figjt gather reasources and prepare the next fight. But how should i help in push with 10 healt, in blue armor whithout ammo if my teammate doesn't recognise i need 10 seconds to push? Most of the randoms don't care what you ping, what is your hero-s fundamentals, what is the most reasonable next move. Just do their common game. Brainless push or brainless hiding.

Randoms are garbage, I’ll have 2k dmg and they’ll start taking shit.. end of the game comes around and they don’t even have 1k lmao
We get queued as 3 man team but I drop as a 1 man team with 2 ai . If they die they die .
I literally life longer actually going in solo making 2-5th place consistently but when I group with the randoms we die fast as they just attract attention of the whole are revealing our location now we hvae 2 teams on us ☠️.
Now if I do filled so the queue goes a bit faster . I just ignore team mates if they die they can disconnect because I'm not retrieving their card unless their is a replicator around .
I'll take by second place survival xp than 100 point for 1 kill into our squad wipe.

Solo queing with a .8KD vs triple stacks of masters is why I don't play.
In all fairness, this season's matchmaking is based on your current rank so if you are in plat you will only fight people who are also in plat
@tobyg791 I'm talking about regular ass pubs. The MM in this game is horrendous. The worst I've seen in 20+ years of playing fps. There's no reason my .8KD ass should be facing(and losing to) triple stacks of players with more kills with one legend IN ONE SEASON, than I have across my entire account. Every. Single. Match.
Then Respawn has the nerve to call it "skill based" 😆
Me and those players are playing entirely different games. There's no reason I should be facing them every match. I was a S3-S14 player. I quit when there was no room left for long term casual, low skill players who are at their skill cap, like myself. We are just used as cannon fodder for plat+ lobbies. I'm just good enough to challenge them a bit more than a bot 😆
If my matches EVER felt balanced, I'd still be playing.
