***It's fun to imagine the joy these shoebox gifts will bring to the children, but even better is the eternal impact I hope they have. My prayer is that God will be preparing the hearts of this little girl and her family, so that when she receives her shoebox she will believe the Gospel message and receive Jesus as Lord of her life. And, God willing, her family will follow suit!
Keep packing shoeboxes to glorify God and share the Gospel. And keep looking up--the Lord is coming soon. Let's be found about our Father's business when Jesus calls us to meet Him in the air!
* Franklin Graham says PRAYER and Personal Notes are the most important thing and he wants us to send MORE TOYS in our shoeboxes and to the processing center as fillers! And that's our aim! We want children to experience delight when opening their shoebox gifts. And may that delight cause them to feel a deep desire to know more about this Jesus who loves them. And may they receive Jesus as Lord and Savior!

Are you interested in an eternal relationship with Jesus Christ? Believe in Jesus, admit you have sinned and ask him to forgive your sins. Trust Him and receive him as your Savior and Lord. Read all about God in the Bible, starting in Genesis with creation to understand God and sin and the punishment for sin. Also, read the New Testament to understand what Jesus did, so that we could have forgiveness and redemption from sin. The Bible reveals God's plan for his children and the world. It tells us that Jesus will come soon for his children and we get to live forever with him!
We are blessed to have the Bible so we can know all about him.
I am very glad I can participate with Operation Christmas Child to bring the good news of Jesus and eternal life to the children around the world who have never heard about him. We are making a difference for eternity!

Kristi Graham recommends several items after experiencing a recent distribution. She recommends backpacks, water bottles, and soccer balls.

Don't forget to make Love Letters for all your shoeboxes AND fillers! We were inspired by Yves Dushime who praises God for the Operation Christmas Child shoebox gift he received when he was 11 years old living in Togo. It was the first gift he ever received, and God used it to help turn his heart from hatred to love. The note in his shoebox changed the course of his life!

Up early this morning, before my alarm, thinking of the last few boxes to complete this weekend. A dear prayer partner donated that exact same Barbie (and a few more) for my boxes. I was hesitant on what age group and had been thinking about it this very morning. Felt led to hop on and watch some OCC unboxing videos…and what should pop up?? This!! Just the inspiration I needed. So, thank you for sharing this very timely video (and others). 💗

It's like loaves and fishes when you unbox, it's like there is more and more and more! I just love your videos. I always made exclusively older boy boxes in years past until watching one of your videos showing the reusable menstrual pads. I was so touched - the idea of giving a girl the gift of freedom - I couldn't resist. I ended up making more older girl than boy boxes this year. That wasn't my intent, but I kept noticing that I had girl wow gifts left and all the necessary items that I could make complete boxes- missing only one thing, the pads. So I ended up ordering more sets of pads to finish my boxes and I was so pleased to do so. I pray this girl who receives this gift from you will have joy! Oh, and I will have to buy a few harmonica necklaces now, cuz I am a music teacher and I mean, gotta make a joyful noise!
Janette, I'm so thrilled with this message! It is so exciting to know others are being impacted by my shoebox videos. When I started making videos I was extremely reluctant. I never liked being on camera at all. But God called me to do it and I obeyed. When I hear others' testimonies--like you--I am humbled. I must give God all the glory. He has done his will through me and Michelle. May each shoebox of ours and yours and each shoebox inspired by these videos glorify Jesus and result in many lives changed!

Great! So many boxes! Do you work on them year round? Do you have somewhere outside your house to store them as you put them together? I have only been involved in OCC for three years now. I know I can improve and I am so eager to learn from folks like you!
@@Lisa-eo9gd I do pack year round! I get a lot of deals after holidays (Christmas and Easter mainly). If you can wait until seasonal items hit 70-90%, that’s the time to stock up! I have a small craft/sewing room with a closet, and that’s where I store most of my goodies and boxes. :) Glad you’re part of the OCC family!
