Chris: "This is actually a Safe"
LPL: "... and after 3 seconds, we got this open! So anyway Folks..."
I thought the same thing! 👍😁
Always makes me nervous when Chris is solving more delicate/fragile puzzles 😂😅 I love when the note pad comes out though, always interesting to see the notes that lead to solving the puzzle!
I don't know if it would have been much of a hint, or whether that wheel also did something else and it taking 5 teeth of the gear was coincidental, but the symbol you saw at 11:43 and assigned to the number 5, the 'ẞ', is effectively equivalent to the symbol you ended up using, a double-s ('ss'), in many German words. I mention this because the puzzle company is German as well.
ahhhh that makes sense but what a stretch huh?
Really stretching it👌🇬🇾👍🤔💀
5 is 'Illuminatus' numerology, it's a sacred number to that particular (fictional) organisation... i.e. the sacred 2-3. Less of a stretch than you think :D
The puzzle looks heavily influenced by the Illuminatus! Trilogy by Robert Anton Wilson & Robert Shea.
Oh yeah the sharp s = ß, very hard one for non German speakers 😂
My 6&7 year olds love watching you with me! They shout out their guesses as you’re trying to solve, and cheer when you finally do! Thank you, for making videos that are entertaining and keep their minds working!
I have been gone for a while, puzzles were big and one off but these small puzzles were what brought me here. Glad to see them back and I have catching up to do. Great into Chris
Loved watching! And the simple magic trick at the end was such a joyful surprise. 💙
Now I want to see Lockpicking Laywer open that lock box and test it's security
Was looking for this comment 😂
Probably just a strong magnet to open.
@@DevinBoynton cool last name
Dude for real!😂
Love the puzzle videos, Chris. I solved this one a month ago or so and STILL watched the entire video! The nice thing about these puzzles is you can put them away for a year and completely forget how you solved them and get to do the whole thing again. :) (Or at least you can once you hit 50, like me! :') )
I felt the same you did after I solved this puzzle. It felt a bit odd getting the solution that was more of a guess and I couldn’t reason why that was the answer. Love your videos, especially the puzzles and escape room stuff!
Would love to see @Lockpickinglawyer take a look at that safe..
I expect he'd have it open in 5 seconds
Yeah if I learnt anything from lpl a giant magnet will probably open it LOL
11:46 - "4 we don't know... there's no real way of knowing right now... I think". While litterally looking on top where 4 is! 🤣
You are doing what i consider a dream job, solving puzzles, great stuff. 😁
Love this Chris like I have been following ur content from 2021 where I found ur content like none other on this whole youtube community I slightly felt bad the before upload thinking tht my fav puzzle solver has changed but it's nothing like tht ... love your content Chris... ❤️
Always a good day with a puzzle solve video.
Fun fact: the symbol for the "pound sign" or "hashtag" (#) is referred to as an "octothorpe".
love your work as always dude happy puzzling :)
Enjoyed the intro for this one. All your puzzle solves are great.
I love your puzzle videos. Keep it up!
Glad you like them!
Just want to say I'm working through all your videos liking, loving, and commenting! Supporting one of the greats ❤ keep staying positive!
Awesome solve, as ever ! looking forward to the next one, Thanks Chris, please keep them coming 😀😀😀
You got it!
Oh thus is amazing watching you get into Fort Knox! ❤❤❤ let's go!
Can't get enough of your videos. Will always be here for the content!!!
Glad to hear it!
Gotta love how right after lookig at that one piece that might be blocking the wheel, another random piece that has nothing to do with the solution just decides to jump out 😄
Love these videos!
Love the evolution from the last puzzle video.
Another awesome puzzle for Chris to solve! I can't wait to watch this with my husband tonight! I know it's gonna be a banger! ✌🇨🇦🔥🔥🔥👍💯♥️♥️
Really cool video bro👍
Love your channel, the puzzles and intro videos are incredibly entertaining. I am glad you have some great sponsors, but after watching the Lock Picking Lawyer's channel too, I see that safe, and I have to wonder, with an exposed hinge, ho long would it take him to get in?
Yeah, I really didn't follow all the logic of the puzzle, but glad you got there in the end. Just before the video got to the part where you solved the BADCD section I was looking at those switches and wondering if the letters were musical notes...
But what the token that fell out was for, or where you were supposed to get the numbers without guessing the last bit, or what was going on with the centre cylinder or the last pull tab that opened the top...
Also, just glad it's you handling that puzzle and not me, I'd be so nervous about breaking it.
POUND SIGN. That's how you know what gen you're in.
I'd bet the LPL could merely give that "safe" a dark look and it would open and then go cry in the corner.
As someone who lives on Fort Knox, I’m going to have to get this puzzle.
I was the same way with this puzzle, enjoyed the hell out of their other ones. I was actually perplexed on the same spot, I thought I was the only one lol. Take care. ✌🏻
These intros are on another level
Love your videos keep it coming 🤩👏👍👍😍😍😍😍
i usaly don t like puzzel videos but i love your touch into it
Awesome puzzle.
such a sick puzzle!
I have this puzzle for a couple of weeks and I was wondering if you gonna try to solve it.
Ive spent over an hour and I didnt figure it out so I am not watching this vid 🤣
That safe looks very easy to just pick up and walk away with...doesn't matter if it's secure or not if someone can just put it in a bag and run away with it.
Your stuff is still safe you just don't know where it is anymore 😆
@@jono6379 Not really. Once they get it home wont take long to open.
Yea i don't even know why you would bother? If anything it just screams to any thief take me.
Thanks for your video
Another for the Chris puzzle shelf of fame
Tnx Chris
Have a great day everyone 😀
LOL, love the paranoid/conspiracy opener... those're so creative, both your opener and conspiracy theories
Oh, there are lots of 'Illuminati' type symbols, for the initiated... the number 5 as somebody below has talked about... the Golden Apple as well.
Definitely a book recommendation is to read the Illuminatus! Trilogy by Robert Anton Wilson & Robert Shea. This puzzle looks to have been heavily influenced by those books.
Thank you for uploading too
That was a trip of an intro
I liked that little cryptex shaped puzzle
Woo-hoo puzzle day!!!!!
I have a very similar box from the same company and my solving went very similar to how Chris solved his
Thanks
Me sitting here yelling "THE 4 IS ON TOP CHRIS!!!" 😂😂
A puzzle and a trick. I watched that part twice 😅
Hell Yeah Chris upload! Why was the oval piece that fell out there tho.
just the stand for the prize
I think the oval piece with a slot in had a image on it too.
Everytime i see that pyramid, i always think it is Bill Cipher trying to come back.
Chris your 3d printed puzzles are done and i will be sending them to you thhis month
I love your stuff mate, but can't watch these videos of yours as THESE puzzle cubes I can ACTUALLY afford! ;P
Something else I would have just tried was to see if the numbers told you how many times to turn the dail and whatever symbol it landed on was the correct one. Even if it didn't work I'd have tried that too
That doesn't look like a good safe 😂 looks like I can just unscrew the back or drill them out rq. Awesome vid though, you rock man !!
This puzzle design reminds me of shroedingers cat puzzle
Would love to see what Lawpicking Lawyer says about this safe.
What are you did that one fairly fast. Cool!
Bro……if I was a thief I’d just steal the safe. No thanks…..lol…..having said that…..I liked watching u solve this more than I’d ever thought I would.
spin it you know you wanna!!
I would be scared I broke it when I got frustrated, looks cool xcx
What a very interesting puzzle. Please Stay Safe Happy and Healthy Have A Wonderful Day
Gratitude and love..
Funny cuz I bought this puzzle thinking it would be hard and I solved it in less than 20 min. It's funny watching you solve it when I know how.
Paper: It’s 1962…
Old Wooden Puzzle: has Bitcoin logo etched on it
I had this box and had a similar experience. A bit unclear + janky pieces. Neat concept, needs to double in price and production quality/precision IMO
My favorite magician and the puzzle solve ever 👍👍 im your fans from Malaysia bro..!!!! Hope you reply my comment.. 😅
I think I have an earlier version of this puzzle. Maybe they thought it was too easy to solve that one, cause I think you're version of it was much harder The symbols for nr 2 and 5 was really easy to find on my version, but I don't understand how to find them on yours.
oooh. cool.
Ah yes electronic locks... just wait for lockpicking layer to slap it open or use a tomatoe to open it faster than a key...
Hi Chris. I have what I believe is a brass Indian box that we cannot open. Can you advise please. John uk
Hi Chris, l played a game called haunted laia it took me 3 to 4h to complete the game it's a puzzle game ps I was wondering if you can make a vid on the game? It's so hard and you have to think out side the box.😅
Lock Picking Lawyer has entered the chat
....or a sledgehammer if you really need to get into that safe ;)
Great safe. Instead of opening it and choosing what to steal, just steal the whole safe..... YAY
what i noticed is that puzzle is also a little money box thats why there was a convinient slot in the side
Better than I ‼️
Noticed you didn't mention the Roman numerals on the bottom of the puzzle and that is where I would have started. Aka with I aka one
Each surface shows you how to solve the next one basically
As someone who solved this box some time ago, let me say: The puzzles to discover the "2" and the "5" symbols are entirely illogical and arbitrary - therefore, they're horribly frustrating and dumb. Chris, you didn't miss anything - not this time, anyway. -- The fact that four out of the six parts of the combination are clearly sign-posted with giant numbers to show you where they are and then two of them are NOT, is really frustratingly inconsistent.
The gears that are meant to reveal the symbol for #5: If there was a tiny number five hidden in the gears, it would be half-way fixed, as a puzzle. BUT, the other thing they would need to refine is this: The gear you turn to find the correct symbol, it would need to land on the same correct symbol REGARDLESS of rotation direction. Ie: if you turn it up or down, five times, it should land on the same symbol. This could have been designed easily if the gear had 10 points of rotation, meaning 5 up or 5 down both caused it to rotate 180 degrees.
But, they didn't do that. So, it's entirely arbitrary and not intuitive. Another clue could have been to have the arrow pointing down or up, instead of outward.
And the idea that the tiny 'B' symbol is next to two tiny 'special rivets' that are meant to clue you into the idea that the B is the symbol for tumbler #2, that makes no sense. Only if ALL FIVE of the other symbols had clear signposting would mean that the final one [#2, in this case] could lead the player to deduce the following logic: "I know all the other symbols, and here is another symbol, so it must be for the one I don't know, AND, look! There's TWO bolts here, so it must be for #2."
It's a reach to expect the player to not know the symbols for #2 or #5 and have them deduce that the 'B' is for #2, just because of two tiny circles. There are circles that are meant to look like rivets and bolts all over the puzzle. If it was two tiny stars or some other special shape, sure. But there are circles everywhere.
I could break into that safe in less than a single minute with my $150 Flipper Zero.
Anyone using rfid for security needs to rethink their lives.
so i bought one of those safes to see how worth it, it actually is and its not bad but uh its not durable at all lol cool puzzle though
Hay Chris what movie did you made last year. NAME....
Ask the lockpicking lawyer to open it
Probably vulnerable to magnets or bumping
Question is, how long would it take The Lockpicking Laywer to break into today's sponsored product?
They key didn't go in the hole in the bottom of the "vault well"?
The intro reminds me of $uicideboy$ music videos:)
My only question is was the coin slot just for show?
Time to get LPL on that safe doesn't look secure at all.
how did he miss that 4 on top, I literally noticed it right away
The only thing I can think of for 2 is that B is the second letter in the alphabet 🤷♀️ who knows I’m probably wrong but regardless great video ❤
The greatest puzzle to be solved is the puzzle of Life👁
Wich has not been solved yet
Yes, with a hammer
Great content as per usual, but I have a feeling that wasn’t the actual solution. Let me know if I’m wrong with my intuition.
🎉🎉🎉
Sitting here watching Spiral. Chris Rock punks a drug dealer and I'm like "Holy s××t it's Chris f×ing Ramsay!"
A safe is only as good as it is not portable. Anyone that wants to steal your stuff would just take it and pry it open with a crowbar or some other destructive method. That's why effective safes are hundreds of pounds or bolted to something that is. That little flimsy thing is nothing more than a novelty
