I am nw45. I got the glow powder yesterday and absolutely love it. I actually dusted it over my face after my primer, before my Foundation. You could still see the Highlight effects through the foundation. It made me look like i had a beautiful glow from within. I am an oily girl but it still looks very nice on me

Laura Mercier and Mario D sponsored a video with Desi Perkins explaining how to use the powders. They are meant to be used together. “Set Down. Set Up.” The orig goes under the eyes, over textured areas, big pores, and any areas you want matte. Then the glow goes over cheekbones, forehead, and high points of your face. It gives dimension and a luminous light from within! ..... at least that’s what they said 🤷♀️
I'm glad they made a mini sized of the Translucent powder because I may pick it up. I don't wear foundation just concealer and I tend to look glowy naturally after a while so not sure if I need this. But it does look pretty on you. Reminds me of my Guerlain Meterorite pearls finish or Hourglass Ambient light setting powders. Hope you do a tutorial on this look, so pretty! Love the lipstick!
Was so happy to see your review on the new Laura Mercier glow. I always trust your reviews and the glow is awesome on you! I went with the medium deep as my complexion is a deeper tone. I have the setting powder but wanted to try this. Just ordered it today. Thank you for your always honest opinions. Can't wait to try this.

I saw your prev video and have some suggestions. I found Mel cuz I was searching subculture looks. I had the pallet and wanted to see someone make it work. She put me on to Pat McGrath. Guess what on YT very mua's have videos using Pat McGrath. I was a believer in Mel since. My suggestion is your thumbnails have to speak to your audience pain. i.e. acne, pores, eyebrow tutorials, pink smoky eye tutorial, how to make found last all day using brand xxx, how to blur pores using x brand. Combine your MUA experience with your shop your stash and find unique titles. Outsmart the YT algorithm. Talk a/b problem skin sensitive skin while doing a GRWM etc.

Oh ok cause when i watched the video with makeup by mario on the sephora website he said to use the glow powder on the high points mablybe i understood wrong cause im oily as heck so i definitely cant use all over my face

Hey Kelsee, did you see that Laura Mercier launched a translucent powder in-between shade? Now, they have HONEY! I had to grab one to try it out under my eyes as a banana-like setting powder.
Im gonna try to mix the original and glow to use all over, I think that would be perfect for me! The glow looks amazing on your skin tone😊

I saw a video from a makeup artist saying you set with the OG powder and then highlight with the new one. I don't know, but that's what makes sense to me b/c that powder has way too much glow to use under the eyes. I use the OG to set, the lighter shade for a highlighter and the deep one actually works around the edges of my face. I was surprised the dark one works because the regular dark one is too dark to work all over for me. I love these new powders.
I've never used the LM powders, yes I'm SO late but I'm going to get both, they're bomb!!

I liked the way makeupshayla used it but it’s up to the individual plus I have since ordered the brush to also use with this and all my highlighters.

I had the glow powder in the deeper shade. It was a beautiful powder but I could only use it as a highlighter. It was very similar to Becca Topaz on my skin, so I returned it.
I had to get this as soon as I saw you with it on! Took advantage and used my Sephora vib discount. I have the original one and didn’t think I needed it until I saw you rockin it! Thank you! 😘 ps: Kelsee please, please share your makeup deets!

Yasssss I clicked on this video SO fast! Lol I live for the glow powder but strongly dislike the regular translucent lol since the translucent glow is slightly darker than the original translucent it looks much better on my skin... I be lookin like a ghost with the original lol I only use the glow powder to set/buff, I don't bake with it

I just reviewed the LM Translucent Glow Powder to the new Charlotte Tilbury Magic Genius Powder! I love CT was stopped wearing LM Translucent Powder about a year ago! But this LM Glow Powder is just beautiful! I have Over 40 Dry skin and live in a very cold climate for 6 months of the year! I got them both but the LM Translucent Glow Powder is better value for money as the the CT which is $56 CAN for 13g and the LM-GT is $48 CAN for 29g!

Hope LM is sending you some love. I knew nothing about it. I wouldn't use it near my nose because of enlarged pores but certainly like a highlighter. But i'm waiting on Pat to re-stock her trio highlighter because they look so darn interesting. Both would be overkill no? And like you I want a shade lighter in the LM translucent powder.

This looks good!!! How do you like it compared to the Hourglass Powder?? I tend to add the HG one as a final step to set all over and give that glow but this may be a more pocket friendly option lol

I was looking for a review on this bc I picked up the mini size in the glow but I have not used it yet. I also have the regular translucent in deep which I use to set my whole face. I think I will use it as a dusting finishing powder on the outer face to get that glow

This one nor original is not for under eye. I guess because most use the original for under eye they trying this one under the eye
jesse jesse I agree. Even though the website says that, other beauty gurus are using it as a highlighter. That’s why it came with the brush. The brush is designed for the high points of your face.
Kelsee Briana Jai Right! Most people apply highlighter after foundation & concealer but never directly under the eye. It looks funny seeing everyone applying this powder heavily under eye LOL 😂 the way they apply it in the Laura Mercier videos is what really has me interested in this product.

They say its only for the high points of your face not the under eye or all over face!! You will definitely look like a disco queen!
That is the same thing that the makeup artist in sephora told me. She said its really a loose highlighter and not for use all over the face unless you want to look like a disco ball. I swatched the powder. No way. I will just mix a small bit of a loose highlighter with the regular LM setting translucent lol.

He used the powder all over the model with the glow powder brush and how to use it with the puff that is included inside. Its not a highlighter...it is a setting powder that glows
