Original is oil free, blurring one has oil. If you tend to break out, oil free may be better.
I think it’s different for everyone! For most (including me) talc is the ingredient that tends to clog pores for acne prone skin. I do recommend each person do research for their skin concerns though :)

I bought the ultra blur to try because I knew the original would be too matte for my dry skin. I haven't tried it yet but I'm so excited now that I've watched your video. I’m so glad it was helpful! Excited to hear your thoughts when you do try it. Also the puffs can be washed by hand with a facial cleanser or makeup remover of choice or I toss them in the washing machine and dryer which works amazing!

Great video! Thank you! I bought the NEW Laura Mercier translucent talc free powder after not wearinng any foundations or powders for 30 years. It makes my skin look smooth without wearing any foundations. Just moisturizer with SPF 46 (Elta MD) and this powder. Thank you for your recommendation! Love it! :-)

Hi there, thanks for this video, so helpful, I'm desperate for a good blurring powder.
Do you think if you have very textured skin, it would be best to skip foundation altogether and just use this powder, and apply like you did with the powder puff ?
Is the original translucent a white colored powered? It looks a bit colored
