Fun Fact: Andre 3000 & Big Boi were both going to feature on a song for the debut album of a new up-and-coming artist but decided against it as they didn't want an Outkast reunion to overshadow this newcomer's first commercial project. That newcomer was Frank Ocean, the album was Channel Orange and the song was Pink Matter.
If you look around, you'll find the unofficial Outkast feature version with both Andre and Big Boi doing their thing together along with Frank. The only true Outkast reunion since disbanding and it makes sense since it was on a song as eccentric and phenomenal as Pink Matter.
Really wish that got an official release. Tbh it could’ve spiced you Frank’s debut even more. Tbh the fact that they were worried about overshadowing Frank shows that Andre and Antwan have true character, unlike many others in their field.
Loved the video. I love these types of things and Outkast are my favorite artists of all time. I love to see someone else who appreciates N2U that track is underrated as well as someone who considers Speakerboxxx to be among the best and a separate entry from the Love Below. My list is The Love Below, Idlewild, Southerplaylistic, Aquemini, Atliens, Speakerboxxx, and Stankonia but I go back in forth on Speakerboxxx and Atliens. It’s great to see other opinions and takes on their music as it’s so unique and incredible. Last thing I’ll say is the reason I discovered Outkast is because my art teacher randomly dropped a reference by saying the forever eva line in class and I recognized it so I manically searched for where it came from and that discovery led to me spending a year ranking all of their music. So you ending the video with that line was a chef kiss moment. I will now be subscribing.

OutKast also has an extremely deep b side and guest appearance catalog. Before the streaming days, I had a 5 CD set of non album songs called “Oukast- Rarities”, and more than half of them are are just as good as their hits.

The Love Below is amazing, I don't think I've heard another album like it. Everyone knows Andre is a rapping GOAT, but he's more than that, I feel it was important to show that rappers can do more than rap, we've seen today how crucial that has been to the evolution of pop music and hip hop, and I feel Andre's TLB was an integral part in progressing that. It's far from perfect, but the experimentation is very cool to hear and when it pays off we get some of the best music ever made like Hey Ya, Happy Valentine's Day, Prototype.

I’m sorry man but if you only started listening to outlast 10 years after hey ya you have no business discussing or ranking OutKast. If you haven’t been listening to them since 93 you don’t really understand what they were and meant to rap and music back then.
