*Luka's game was better than Kobe's, here's why...* Luka only took 33 shots to put up 73/10/7 on 76% FG and 91%TS. How is Kobe's 81/6/2 on 61% and 71% TS better? 33 shots isn't a crazy amount of shots, but 46 shots is an OBSCENE amount of ball hogging shots! Luka did his playing a normal style, Kobe did his by hunting for a big game performance. Kobe also took 45+ shots in several games, but it really only worked out in the one game, Luka meanwhile has never taken more than 33 shots. Luka also passed up shots in the final minutes of the game to give his teammate an even better look, Kobe meanwhile was blatantly stat padding until the last seconds of the game with his team up by 15+ points.
I think Lukas game was the best ever. 👌
he also did it with only 16 free throws. the second highest scoring game with 33 FGA or less and 16 FTA or less is 61 points.
Agree 100%, it was a weird take. Some just looking for anything to knit pick instead of appreciating greatness.

i think the 60/21/10 game was more impressive just because of the insane come back + purposely missed free throw game tying shot.
73 is more impressive but 60/21/10 is the bigger anomaly, genuinely a unicorn of a performance
Gamescore gave it a 64.0 which is 2nd to MJ at 64.6 and ABOVE Kobe's 81. Luka just had the 2nd best game of all time.

The mayority of the media in the USA don't like the idea and don't recognize that a foreign player (in this case Luka) have this amazing talent, his already way better than Nowitzki by far... And also better than other super stars. That is a fact.

it's because KAT only shot efficiently in the first half.
his FG% was 82.4% and his 3P% was 88.9% in the first half but in the second half his FG% was 38.9% and his 3P% was 33.3%.
and really it was more about his shot selection than just his poor efficiency. he put up a lot of REALLY bad shots in the second half. it was obvious he was just trying to force the highest point total he could regardless of anything else.

Yeah, NBA is definitely the gap in both Caleb and I’s knowledge but half the fun of doing this show has been having to learn more about some sports I don’t personally follow as closely anymore. Have learned a lot from this comment section lol -Simon
