I Loved watching Cena raise his hand and bounce off the ropes before dropping a 5 knuckle shuffle could watch that a million times without needing it to change. But I was a kid at the time so I can see how adult would want him to adapt his arsenal.

2015 was the year where all titles were given value, from tag team championship to the wwe world heavyweight championship. Every title matches were 4/5 stars, there were no squatch matches at that time.

Rusev was definitely buried by Cena. Most people JUST bring up the 1 WrestleMania match and say "losing 1 match doesn't bury a superstar" which I agree with, but no one ever mentions the next 2 consecutive ppvs that Cena beats Rusev lol. It was a 1 time thing, the man ended rusevs undefeated streak at the biggest show in wrestling, took his championship, proceeded to beat him in a match that is literally supposed to be to his advantage "RUSSIAN chain", then got beat up so bad the next time his wife had to quit for him...should be in the dictionary next to burials
I’d definitely disagree about Owen’s and Rusev being buried by Cena. Cena made Rusev look like Umaga, an absolute monster. They dropped the ball after him, and beating Cena clean in the middle of the ring on PPV is literally what made Owen’s, I don’t think losing a rubber match can be considered a burial at all.
This was the run that cemented him as the GOAT

Rusev after Cena was RUSEV DAY. That was the most over thing at the time. What ruined Rusev was the booking. He still lost a ton even the fans loved him and Aiden English. Even if you get over if the WWE doesn’t want to push you it doesn’t matter.

Hope we see a Hollywood John Cena in the future. I would like to see him become a full-timer one last time but as a heel, He could become the IC Champ or break Flair's record but I would choose to make him get the IC Title. I don't wanna see him break Flair's record
I envision one final title run for John Cena, if he does plan to retire soon or when he does. I would love if Edge turned heel, and it was like old man Obi-Wan vs old man Darth Maul, reigniting their old feud for one last time. It would complete the trilogy, starting with the 2006 feud that began in New Year's Revolution to Unforgiven with Cena as the victor, then the second rivalry that started in 2009 at the Elimination Chamber ending in Backlash with Edge as the victor and finally this third run, Cena must overcome his greatest rival and enemy of all time
