    Nice to see a review from someone who has owned the bike for a year and can speak of its durability. This is a great testimonial. Thanks very much.

    This is great! We got the Aventon Aventure.2 which is a little bit bigger than the Level 2 (from what I can gather). Studies are showing the e-bikes offer 92% of the fitness benefits of regular bikes, but it just feels so much easier and more fun that it doesn’t feel like it’s as hard!

      Thanks, I was looking into the Aventure 2 but it seemed too extreme for my area of ridding. E-bikes are a great way of fitness it takes more strength than people would imagine.

    Thanks for this. Us hefty guys don't get alot of help through most reviews. One "Pro" review channel consider their 250 lb guys as "heavy".
    I'm gonna buy a bike at the end of this month, and it's nice to know that a 500w motor will do the trick, as I've been looking at 750w motors and up due to my size. This gives me alot more options now.

    • @MontanaEbiker
      @MontanaEbiker Před 29 dny +1

      Hi, just a heads up...a 500 watt e-bike will not be able to take you up hills without some very strenuous pedaling. I'm 245lbs and had a 750 watt e-bike and had trouble going up hill. I've since purchased a 1500 watt Wired Cruiser e-bike and can now climb any hill in my area. With that said, if you plan on solely riding flat surfaces then a 750 watt would work fine but may not reach top speed. I've been riding e-bikes for years now so im happy to help if you have any questions!

    Thank you. I’m a 72 year old guy that weighs 265lb. It was great hearing from someone I can relate to. Close to getting my first e bike and am
    Leaning strongly towards the Level 2. There’s a bike shop only 10 minutes away that carries Acentin, so that’s a huge plus as well.

      I’m 6-5 and bought the aventure.2. I had the front handlebars raised. With that adjustment, it’s perfect for me. For a large person, I recommend the Aventure.2 because of the fat tires. It’s a beast. It’s good on the road and very stable on dirt or gravel paths. The level2 is also a great. My wife has the step thru version and she loves it.

    Thanks! Ordering one today finally.. as for security would setting the bike to no assistance before you park it be a good way to help deter/counter thieves? Thief wont be able to zip away if they can somehow power it up.

    Thanks for this video, it is very informative. I also live in the Atlanta area. Do you have a bike shop that you recommend? Also, the trail that you were on looks great! What are your favorite trails to ride in this area?

    • @BassettBTV
      @BassettBTV  Před měsícem +1

      I do not have a certain bike shop in Atlanta. Most trails I ride are silver comet, and the big greenway. There is a trail in Gainsville I’m still looking at taking soon. I believe the trail is still being built in some areas.

    So i was worried about not being able to make it up steeper hills. You cant just use throttle only to get you up a steep hill?

    • @BassettBTV
      @BassettBTV  Před 24 dny

      You can only use the throttle to go up hills. Now depending on the degree of the hill depends if it can make it up or not. Also the weight of the individual makes a difference. It will make it up depending on the steepness. I have had no issues with hills up to this point but I also don’t have any steep hills around me.

      Tall-5’9…pant length 29 to ankles. I would still prefer the regular size over the large. Best bet would to located a bike shop that has both sizes and try them out. Both sizes work there is not much of a big difference but few inches.

      @@BassettBTV My wife came home yesterday with a White R step-through and a Blue L like yours. I'm 5'11, 200lbs and I wear 32" long pants. The R seems a bit small to me, like I'm sitting at attention, but it's easy to get on. The L is probably a better fit, but something I hadn't considered was having to throw a leg over the seat at 68yo, especially if there's a bag on the back. I've tried mounting and dismounting several ways and I think leaning the bike over and stepping over the bar in front of the seat is the best for getting on, and dragging a leg over the seat is the best way to get off. Not sure what anyone else does since no one seems to show how they mount one of these Blue versions on any Aventon video I've seen. I'm considering trading Blue for a L step-throughs, but I need to make up my mind by tomorrow, hmmm....

    • @BassettBTV
      @BassettBTV  Před 2 měsíci +1

      @@Guitarstar4U the step through is very easier to get on and off the bike. I never used a step through before so I went with more similar one. Make sure your bike will fit your body type. If you need the larger size I would return and get the larger step through.

    I just purchased my first e bike at 70 yrs old,adventure 2,nice solid bike,great features but dang thing is a tank, even removing 10lb battery its a struggle to move and transport, i feel it's to much bike to ride comfortable, considering a down trade to aventon "sinch" 20lbs less weight and easier to mount ( knee issues),my a2 is step thru but getting my size 12 shoe the step thru not so good.

    • @BassettBTV
      @BassettBTV  Před měsícem

      The A2 is a very heavy duty bike. Each bike depends on your riding style and location your riding. The sinch may weight less but how comfortable will it be. Recommend testing it out in a bike shop first. Everyone’s styles are different.
