At the end of March 2024, I planned an 11-day trip to visit Thailand and Laos to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary.
I focused the trip mainly on a week in Luang Prabang, Laos. Morning almsgiving, Kuang Si Falls, a Mekong sunset cruise, climbing Mount Phousi, and visiting the UNESCO World Heritage temples in the city. Within a week, I tried my best to explore this small yet charming city with my 2-year-and-3-month-old child.
Finally, we enjoyed a two-night stay at the Amantaka hotel, making it a journey rich in culture, nature, and relaxation.

This is a work by Haruki Murakami. I checked before, and it seems it is only available in Japanese as "ラオスにいったい何があるというんですか?" along with the Chinese version "你說，寮國到底有什麼？" and the Korean version "라오스에 대체 뭐가 있는데요?" All three versions can be found on Amazon.
