Considering the M2C has PPF, I wanted to make sure whatever product I used to help protect the paint would work well with the film too. Also, with the hope to attend car shows, driving events and more this summer, absolutely want Lillith looking her best!
Corey and CarProUSA really put me onto an amazing product in their new Essence Plus. Not only does it help refresh existing ceramic coating, but can fill in swirls and scratches, and works perfectly with PPF.
I was eager to give it a try and I think it turned out beautifully!

I missed this video.. I meant to have came back and commented on this because I feel like some misdirection and information was given. I order from Sky’s car care all the time. I’m a huge CarPro fan. I actually just did my entire BMW M4 from top to bottom with Carpro products
You can absolutely ceramic coat PPF- Carpro has an product called SKIN which is a full ceramic coating for PPF and Matte paint.
I just spent two weeks doing a full two-stage correction on my paint following up with Carpro UK 3.0 ceramic coating topped with two layers of Carpro SIC. My entire front end of my vehicle is protected with expel ultimate plus PPF and I used SKIN to protect that.
Now the caveat is.. I did correct my paint using CarPro clear-cut and CarPro essence.
Essence is a polish and yes you can polish PPF with a very very soft fine polishing pad to remove imperfections like water spotting things of that nature. But you will want more protection than what essence plus can give as a full hardening layer to protect your car.
Another PPF product is Gtechniq HALO. That’s made for PPF.

Fantastic write up for sure, and you are correct there are a LOT of possible products out there. Thank you for sharing.
Great video and great vibes! May I ask which polisher you’re using? Just trying to figure out some good options for when I apply my Essence Pro. Thank you sir!
Thank you! Corded orbital from Griots Garage. Works great!
Thank you! This would actually be my first polishing project with the Essence Plus and I’m trying to decide between the affordable (and well-liked) Griot’s G9 or something more professional like a Rupes. Your final result looks beautiful so the fact that you used a Griot’s definitely makes me think that the G9 would be quite fine. Appreciate any input you may have : )
Get a shinemate or maxshine.
Thanks for sharing!
Happy to help, really impressed how good this product is on the car.

Just finished my blue Tesla and it came out fabulous. Thanks again
@@RayNLA that is awesome, and I bet it looks great!
You actually can ceramic coat a PPF…
Yes correct, SKIN Carpro for PPF and Wrap
Yup, guy is confused
Instructions for letting it cure an hour are for hand application only...
Looking at the bottle, it does say 30 minutes. CarPro US' website contradicts this, however.
