I always thought it was unusual that BOTH Universal Interactive and Vivendi Universal Games were in this intro. Vivendi Universal Games was the result of Universal Interactive merging with Vivendi Games; Universal Interactive didn't exist after this happened.

Had a lot of fun playing nitro kart, definitely a solid game, but ctr was better in a few ways. The controls weren't as crisp as ctr, the jump was more floaty and the boost was underwhelming when you maxed it out. Some weapons were underpowered and also felt weak through animation and sound. The graphics were obviously better but that's the only factor you could really say CNK was better in. Again I think CNK was a good and fun game, but it didn't reach the heights of CTR.
Crash Team Racing Nitro Fueled apparently has all the Nitro Kart tracks and characters, better graphics and even more responsive version of the old CTR controls. So you guys go check that out and relive that childhood.
