I just love the two Norms' different personalities. Small Norm is quiet, grumpy, and enjoys books, while Big Norm is talkative, friendly, and prefers to race.

Literally my childhood right here, I don't know how many hours I spent playing against my brother with Crash games, but it was a lot, and a lot of fun

It's much slower than CTR and the voice lines are annoying for half the characters, but the core racing is still very fun.

I love how Vito doesn't seem to be an asshole like many others in his position are. He has a sense of intimidation about him, but he just acts mildly upset or just intrigued when his champions lose.

Terra was one cool world indeed. Yes it was a sort of analog to Earth with its full on Nature aesthetic, the Jungles and everything, but it truly felt like home as they started there.
I mean, I was quick to put off the planet's name (it's literally "Earth" in my language), but the fact they do acknowledge one of the planets might actually be a copy of the other did make it a cool touch.

and the wumpa fruit mechanic basically, but instead of 10 wumpa fruit just adding to a coin collection, they boost your items until you don't have 10, which is a really cool mechanic imo

i always though CTR copied the same concept as DKR by having a main hub world,and by doing races you can challenge bosses and open new worlds etc.
Krunk = Papu Papu
Nash = Ripper Roo
Norm = Komodo Joe (and possibly Moe)
Geary = Pinstripe
Velo = Oxide (except Velo doesn't cheat)
They all kinda cheat. Using their own items and no limits to how many they can throw at you.

Since crash team racing nitro fuelled is coming, I’m hoping for these bosses to show up, probably even as playables ( it’s ok if it is DLC)

Dillon Sudduth the voice acting is good enough. Andrew Morgado voices Krunk, Dwight Schultz voices Nash and Geary, and Robbie Daymond voices Small Norm (by whistling so don't fret). André Sogliuzzo reprises his role as Big Norm and voices Real Velo.
But not Fake Velo. Just the small boi.
Velo Was A Challenge. The Race With Geary always made me laugh since he always freaks out when he's losing the race XD

If you played the game boy version the boss fights of geary, Norm, and velo were difficult for me it took so many trys to complete

I like when they see Norm for the first time they just laugh, and then Velo laughs for a second!
I was upset that you couldn't unlock the bosses in this game through codes like you could in Crash Team Racing
You can.
Only on the GBA version, you're able to unlock the bosses by beating them. You can't in the HD versions.

I think it's due to fact that this game would of ran out of time to add the bosses in racer slots.

In a recent interview one of the devs said CNK characters will be playable. Fingers crossed the CNK bosses and their awesome karts are playable too.

Gotta say out of all the world champions Krunk and big Norm were definitely the best and were good sports in the end.
Even though Big Norm dosen’t like to lose he’s a better sport about it than little Norm.

Oh, and also, Velo's boss kart. In the cutscene, it was golden in color, but during the race, it's purple.

I grew up with the GBA version and had no idea what so many of the characters truly looked like from their sprites.
By the looks of it, the robot was your most difficult race. I think for me too. Been a while. Almost 8 years since I played this. I miss my PS2 :(

This is literally the first crash game to have cinematic cutscenes
I like how there are people like this that are AMAZING at these kind of games it took me 7 trys on the first one to beat it

this game brings back so many memories i just completed crash team racing after not playing it for many years and Velo from nitro kart makes N. Oxide from crash team racing seem the easiest boss ever. I remember playing this game and still til this day getting angry over not defeating this guy, I remember my dad walking in and just saying "be calm about it, just keep driving straight and focus" and ironically it worked. it was such a tough challenge but really does bring back childhood :')

I really hope they get the same voice actor for Emperor Velo when he comes into CTR Nitro Fueled . He has an epic voice . Loved his lines . They were intense . That alien like Russian voice is awesome .
Um............this may be a disappointment for you, but Steven Blum doesn’t reprise his role as Velo. Also, CTR:NF was out for a couple weeks.

That name totally wasn't recycled for a different map in the next Crash racing game that *EVERYONE FORGETS ABOUT.*
+James Frostbite Thurley Tag Team Racing wasn't awful, the racing was different but still rather fun, it even had a nice bit of platforming added into it as well, just both modes were a bit bland compared to the previous titles. Nitro Kart's designs and cutscenes are miles above though, they look like Naughty Dog made them, they even had the original designers work on them.

I know, I'm one of the few people to rank it higher than Twinsanity on my list of non-Naughty Dog games. It was really fun and the different cars made it really unique compared to the other two kart-racing games. Got so angry when my friend snapped the game disc in half that I punched him and knocked one of his teeth out and gave him a nose bleed.
I get very angry over trivial things.
I say CNK's deep sea driving is more superior than CTTR's. Take notes radical: get back to doing Simpsons games.
The anti-gravity in this game reminds me of Mario Kart 8
When I was a kid I was never able to beat Norm. I think that's quite the accomplishment though, since I didn't know you could drift-boost

i just realized the boosts dont have as big of an impact as they did in ctr. thats why it doesnt feel as fun drifting around.
They should of put this games adventure mode in Nitro Fueled as well.
