it is not about being a queen or a recent winner. It is about a groundbreaking theatrical performance getting less votes than a cheesy pop song by a dude who cannot sing. Yes he is cute but Loreen's performance was outstanding, was artistic!!!

I thought it was impossible to eclipse Euphoria, but they did just that. This song was too original, too mindblowing for the Swedish audience who obviously prefer mainstream trashy popsongs. Well, if that's the way the Swedes want their music, so be it.

There was some talk a while back that if Loreen didn't win she could potentially join up with San Marino instead. Would be awesome if she did and beat Sweden in ESC with San Marino!!! I always liked San Marino's enthusiasm obvious love for ESC and this would be good for ther tiny little country in terms of tourism boost if Loreen won ESC for them. I will investigate to see if the San Marino option is still on the table.
How does it work? Why would that be possible for her? Can you please explain, why that possiblity exists? Is she from san Marino, or..?
By the way, I heard that there is a petition, for Ema from Finland. That petition says, that she should represent San Marino. How does National selection in San Marino work?
San Marino is a small country you know. They don't have enough singers. So they can participate with foreign singers. Also a country can participate with a song from another countrys national selection.
Sounds great! But it seems weird for me then... If San Marino can pick almost any song from this year, then why do they always send decent songs? Even now, they can just send Emma/Loreen and slay that contest! Or even Carmell from Poland. There are so many options, and underrated singers from various countries.
Well, I can't wait for San Marino then. I hope they will pick either this, or Circle of light.
