as a swede, my only guess to why this did not qualify to the finals was because... it was just too good and too brilliantly setup in terms of complexity for Melodifestivalen. i talked to a few people who were not a fan of the song and it seems like people couldnt take something out of their comfort zone. personally i adore this song and i definitely think it wouldve won easily if it was supported all the way tldr; this song was too good for Sweden to deal with

So, she went out against one of those cute boys with a song that was forgotten like 2 seconds later. The TV performance was also messy and very confusing (in fact the stage invader at the first performance of Tattoo would have fit right in and people wouldn't have had a clue something was wrong).

Loreen did an amazing job, regardless of the results, she made a fantastic song and an unforgettable performance. The song was too dark for the Swedes, but this could have done well in ESC. Hopefully, she gets to release her new record out soon. Promote it and head back to the studio and maybe try to compete again next year, if she wants to. One thing about Loreen is that she is a warrior, she proved everyone wrong when she gave it a second try and brought Euphoria to Europe. Imo this song is better than tattoo, but that doesn’t mean im not happy shes representing Sweden this year. Im so excited but also nervous for her staging, that is what I like the most about tattoo.
I've been listening this song for a while now and want to tell that we all have to wake up from sweet oblivion before it's too late. I'm talking about relations between humans and humans, humans and nature/ planet. We need to become more conscious about what we do and what we gonna leave to our upcoming generation. Sweden is always afraid to go outside the box, they stick to what they think is safe. And therefore the best song missed its chance to reach the finals. My opinion her performance and the song itself was a brilliant piece of art and should have won!!!

Not necessary, check out her other singles like "Under ytan" or "I'm in it with you", it's not like they're significantly worse than this, in my opinion they are as good as Statements, especially Under ytan which is a masterpiece.
