- Tour of our favorite shops in Downtown Greve in Chianti. What we had to buy after living here for the entire summer of 2021. This was our final days so we splurged on our "must buys" from Chianti.
It was an amazing summer in Italy. We arrived early June 2021. It was empty. There were no tourists, only locals in all the towns. It was nice to experience Italy that way. Nearing the end of our stay in August, the cities started getting crowded again. All the stores in Greve were still open despite COVID closures & travel restrictions. The shop owners are excited for Americans to return as many said it is especially the Americans who do the shopping and keep their businesses prosperous. They said we buy things and bring our Italian memories home to share... To enjoy Italy at home ♡ We were one of those stereotypical American and We bought a ton! So, a fun shopping haul of antiques & dinnerware that we purchased in Greve comes at the end of the video.

So did you hand carry purchased items home or had it shipped??
We started the trip with 2 large luggage. Ended with 4! AND had to ship 5 large 📦📦📦📦📦 home! But we got lots to keep the memories strong 🥰🥰
