    Terrific. The mutt's nuts mate. Cool photos and footage, and an excellent book recommendation. It's one I've read myself and thoroughly enjoyed. If a book can be said to have an ambience about it, then this one certainly has it in spades. 👍😎👍💚👍

      SMITHY'S KONTIKI cheers buddy it’s a Canon 5D mk4 with a 600 L series canon Prime lens, the birds were a bloody long way away so I had to crop in on them but it all came out ok 😊 I’ve got some more kit on order so I’ll do a vid on that when I get it, a 50th birthday present to myself for next month lol 😂....     Crikey..! I never knew they took black backed gulls, they are huge birds.. We have a colony of greater black backed on Looe island, and also have peregrines around too, I would love to see a meeting..

    I'm surprised a Peregrine Falcon can only survive an average of about 5 to 6 years. A House Sparrow in comparison lives about 4 years! These raptors do extremely well with diving for prey in the air. All he has to do is pick a bird, any bird, in the air. Once he decides, he swoops in on the flock and catches it. But sometimes collisions with buildings and cars can happen, thus affecting their survival rate.
