‘The Peregrine’ by J.A Baker | BOOK REVIEW

This is one of the best books I’ve ever read. #theperegrine by #jabaker
The peregrine by J.A Baker is also an audiobook on audible read by #davidattenborough which I also listened to just because I enjoyed it so much. On this occasion I preferred reading the book as it’s just so rich and unique. It’s like a magical ride and almost needs to be read very deliberately to take it in properly and digest it.
David Attenborough is always fantastic but I found he distracts a little from the feel of the book as he is so recognisable and the author J.A Baker was apparently such a lone operator who wanted to remain obscure. I couldn’t help but fall into a state of relaxed stupor as I would watching one of Attenborough’s documentaries. Still a brilliant audiobook though, make no mistake

I think we’re all potentially a bit weird aren’t we? I know I am. Weird or not I think he’s great and love the book.
