Just got my steam deck oled today, was completely lost until this vid lol. I think sometimes less is more. My main goal was having a game library all together, emulators, customizable themes and sounds and just quality of life plugins. The amount of stuff that I see other people do, I'm like uhhh yeah less is more for me 😂

How do you get that theme that shows more of the art work at 6:06
First, you need to get the Decky plugin. Then get the CSS Loader. Once you get the loader then get "Art Hero." That's the theme you'll be using for adjusting the Hero.

Have you found the Killswitch case to be super bulky or is it an improvement for ergonomics? I'm stuck between a skin and a case
Hopping in on this. It’s amazing. Been rocking a provided review unit for a few weeks and the texture adds some nice grip, it’s definitely “safer” feeling, and the kickstand is mad handy.

@@Fgtfv567 Very light - it does add some of course, but for me I got used to it pretty quick, and taking it off to do a comparison it’s not like it’s night and day.

I have tried switching the right trackpad to as mouse in halo but it never works the way it’s shown here. It always makes the joystick always lock down until I switch it back. Someone said that it can’t use mouse and gamepad controls at the same time. Mainly happens if I set both as mouse.
To be clear. You can still aim, if only right is trackpad but the movement is locked so you can’t aim and move

I swear by css loader.. I. Always swapping and changing things in there.. best thing about it, you can save profiles, so it's quick and easy to swap between themes and styles.
The steam deck is just awesome really, im litterally typing this comment on my own deck in desktop mode haha
