It is limited to 25kmph, which is the limit I'm the UK. However, i'm not sure if you are allowed a bike over 500w.
Have a read about it. What I will say though is that bikes powered at 500w or lower don't seem to do the job of getting you up those nasty hills, and a lot of people tend to ignore the rules. If you go to Engwe website via the link in the description, they do have bikes with less 500w and less if you want to be squeaky clean 👍
