    My observations:
    * Heavy for their size, except for the circuit board and cooling fan rotor, they appear to be constructed entirely of aluminium.
    * LED elements appear to be assembled solidly to their substrate, I've seen some second-tier products that looked like if you accidentally dropped them even once, they'd be heavily damaged, which would not bode well for long-term survival in a high-vibration environment like offroading at medium speeds. I already accidentally dropped one of these about 4' onto a wood laminate floor, zero damage. They are robust.
    * Some cheap LED bulbs don't fit or hold the OE socket well, these require a decent push to seat, so I don't feel they will have any issues with staying in place, over rough terrain, as I know that a few have had problems with some lesser quality suppliers' units falling out after being rattled and jostled offroad ( or Baltimore potholes LOL ).
    * My biggest concern on the integrated antihyperflash units since they first appeared, was that the heat ended up in the base of the assembly at the resistor cluster, sometimes distorting or melting the sockets, whereas incandescents have all their heat at the filament, so in the glass globe itself, elevated from the base assembly area. So I just decided at that time, not to use LEDs at all for turn signals and just left the OEM bulbs in place. Until now.

Hopefully they handle as well on our Reisterstown bumps and potholes too! Thanks for the insight on build quality and heat dissipation

Hello Travis, thanks for writing in. LOL, yes, you are not far away at all. Are you a ClubFrontier member as well?
They do seem to be well designed for the heat question, major cliche but truly only time will tell. I just installed the 3157 taillamps as well, my older Chinesium tails were starting to lose elements, as I had mentioned in the video about lesser quality construction, these were made of individual boards soldered together in a ring and I think the solder joints cracked. I will be releasing a video showing them as well, old vs new.

@@frontiergeek4953 No worries at all! I'm on the forum as travis.a.chapman, and happy to have found that resource in 2020 to guide my purchase! Same boat: I'm usually OK with the rando Amazon LED because it does what I need enough of the time, but it's a dice roll. I just replaced my Katana heads: 3 years of daily driving with those as day-time running lights
