- Running a small business means working on the weekend, a lot. But I LOVE IT. 🥹 This step of the jewelry making process is so rewarding; to finally see my designs come to life. I was especially excited to see this Opal ring come together, and I'm so glad we are ALL in love! 💕 I've have been busting my butt this weekend to get these pieces ready for the release day which is officially, MAY 12th!

Been in jewelry industry for 6 years and I have never seen anyone’s jewelry table that clean in my entire life
I see how that’s true! 😂 I bought mine almost a year ago and I honestly baby it and clean it very very often. It’s one of the most expensive things I own so, she’s going to stay clean. 💀🙈💜

I handcraft pieces from a rock in the ground. I don't use macines (goung on two years of that); but, I'm realizing that it is NOT realistic to avoid machines altogether forever I dont goldsmith or silversmith yet. I craft cabochons from rough crystals with salt, water, vinegar, chisel, sandpaper from 80 grit to 7500 grit. sandpaper. I wire wrap some of them.

I love that gold molten look… you know it’s because of you now that I’m getting into lost wax casting… I need to find out what special tools I need to buy. Now I am a professional and instructor metalsmith, so I have just about every tool you need for that. But I’ve noticed on Rio Grande that Tools for wax casting and I’m gonna need that. Whatever that pen is that melts your wax and I need to know what types of wax I need to start with. And I love the molten look. Anyway, you know I’m super proud of you. Hugs 🤗, Michelle

Nice video. Thank you. I cut Australian black opals (by hand) and also buy precut opals. I also have other gemstones (Colombian emerald, garnet, topaz, etcetera). I would love to design and make my ring mounts and pendant mounts in 14k-18k yellow gold, which I plan on accomplishing soon.

It’s the way the stone was cut and was intentional. 💜 I work with a lot of irregular shaped opals 💜☺️
