  • Stone setting day in the jewelry studio is one of my favorites! Getting to see all of my work finally come together is extremely rewarding. This studio vlog was a lot less chatty and a little more "cinematic", I hope you guys enjoy this style of vlog.

    On top of being an awesome jewelry artist, you can easily double as a professional video producer! This video is so well made, from those detailed zoom shots on the coffee pod to the classy music choices. Smooth cuts and unique camera angles! Great work!

    I love the ring with the pink stone. I started to buy my equipment mostly from Durston and the Touch Amatic From Pepe Tools, I am exciting to start my journey. 😊❤

    Lucky you, a new rolling mill! I’m always so stressed when I see you polishing without safety glasses and with your hair down… 😅 my hair got caught once and it was not fun!

    Hey girl! It’s a pleasure watching your vids! Thanks for taking the time and sharing your work with us. Can I ask you to make a video on how you’ve come to know so much about jewellery making and what courses you’ve taken? Where do I start basically lol 😅 also, do you think it’s doable to live from jewellery making and would you share some tips on how to survive and thrive in this field? Thanks so much again, you’re a little ray of sunshine ❤

    Hi! 🙋‍♀️Im 18 and I love watching you make your jewellery, and am inspired by your way of just doing things you enjoy.
    For the longest time I just did whatever would make my parents happy/proud.
    But I got depressed and now I am recovering …partly through the arts of jewellery making.
    As said, You’ve been a big inspiration and I love your content 😌
    I’d love if you could maybe do a video on the materials you use and how to use them! I got a lot of insightsthrough your last video tutorial, but I’m still unsure how to exactly start when you’re not exactly a millionaire haha. Anyways, if you’d ever be willing to make something like a course, I’d also be very delighted! Lots of ❤ from 🇩🇪 and lots of good vibes for your fresh start into doing this full time! 🎉🎉🎉

    Great video! One question, when I am making the ring they are not perfectly circle and the inside is always uneven (one side is wider than the other side). When you hammer the ring (at 6:10 in the video), is this how you solve the problem? what kinda hammer do you use? will that ruin the texture of the ring when you hammer it? Thanks!!! xxx❤❤

    • @MiteraMade
      @MiteraMade  Před měsícem

      Thank you!! Your band width should always be the same thickness, but if your circle is just a little misshapen, yes, hammering it with a rawhide mallet will shape it up nicely back to a circle and won’t leave marks on the outside of the ring. The inside may get a few scratches from rubbing on the mandrel, but you can gently file those scratches out 💜☺️

    Probably a dumb question but I gotta ask because I’m super interested in making jewelry myself at some point, how do you make a ring design in different sizes? Do you have to carve it over and over until you have size variety or is there some easier way that I can’t think of????

    Considering you mainly make silver jewellery, what do you think of argentium silver?

    I dare you to cut off that pointless yellow warning sticker from the flex shaft of your rotary tool. 😉

      Those grooves are where you can place formed ring shanks while quality and/or trademark stamping. There are different widths to choose from. This helps to maintain shape.

    So good to see a professional at work, far better than that part time amateur we once watched slowly blossom.🥹
