- The new volcanic eruption in Iceland seen from drone. See the volcano backside, how the new volcano cone is being formed from the accumulation of dopping lava pieces. This footage had been filmed in the afternoon of August 10th in Meradalir valley, Reykjanes peninsula, Iceland. Drone used: DJI Air 2S. Resolution: 4K. Recording speed: 30 frames per second. This is the 3rd drone flight (in its entirety) I made during the trip no. 3. All drone flights of mine from 2022 eruption - • New Volcanic Eruption ...
"On 3 August 2022, after weeks of unrest on the Reykjanes Peninsula including over 10,000 recorded earthquakes from 30 July to 3 August with two quakes measuring over 5.0 Mw, another eruption began at Fagradalsfjall. A live stream from a camera at the site showed magma spewing from a narrow fissure vent. On 4 August the Icelandic Meteorological Office estimated it 360 meters in length. Over 1,830 people visited the volcano on the first day. It erupted over a lava flow from the 2021 eruption. The Icelandic Meteorological Office advised people not to go near Fagradalsfjall due to the new eruption." - Wikipedia

Somehow I doubt I'm the only one that finds these shifting cascades of orange hot liquid earth absolutely mesmerizing. Who could see this and say anything but "Wow!" and stare! Many many thanks for sharing this natural wonder with us :)
The contrast between the hot orange and the monochromatic backdrop is insanely beautiful! 🥰
Gun Tog continues to be the best of the best!
When you look at the force and heat of this eruption then see other volcanic cones in the background, it makes you wonder just how powerful those eruptions must have been and for how long they must have been going whenever it was they erupted, to have become so large. This is a mere baby in comparison.
I live in CA (USA)- the images of orange fountains in the sky might trigger a bias to be seen as the fire of destruction caused by wildfires. But this is also Creation -
The land is being pulled apart to make way for new land. A graben forms creating space for the lava to flow in filling in the space.
The beauty of the orange fountains reminds me of the colored fountains at the Belagio, in Las Vegas Nevada, where fountains of water shoot skyward choreographed to music.
The brown - gray landscape contrasts with the vibrant colors of creation as the lava flows; changing to black, white grey, and even a touch of sulfurous yellow.
As the elevation of the drone changes, so does our perspective. The view at ground level is very different than the view from above.
The people standing on the hillside are also viewing from different perspectives, they hear the sounds of energy released.
Do you see the fire and brimstone of Hell?
Or the miracle of Creation taking place before your eyes?
Thank you Roman for this magnificent footage. Nature is awe inspiring, beautiful and terrifying all at the same time. God bless you and stay safe please. Hello from Brooklyn NY. 😎
You are the only source for good quality views of this volcano, glad you are back to it to provide us these views. I watch your videos daily! Keep up the good work. Love your drone shots
Beautful vídeo. Nice flying and filming and nice músic. Multi liles.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to spend so much time with the volcano.
God's amazing wonders!
More wonderful work - no need for words. Very helpful for setting in context of last year's eruption. Thank you!
Perfection.
Beautiful. At 8:12 you can see all volcanoes from 2021 and the new one.
Yes, great view !
Once more, you and your wife do a wondrous job. Thank you for trans porting us to Iceland
Thanks Roman.
This you best footage yet of this mew volcano!
Hi Gutn, It's hard to imagine how huge the area is. Love watching the volcano erupting. Thanks for your wonderful video. From Queensland Australia 🖐🐨💖
🐧Hi' Sue~R*🐳 and His Name iS br0ther Roman🚁our Drone🪂Pilot🏹💥
Absolutly stunning you know how to capture the moment and then put the right music to it so it becomes a very relaxing video....loved it.
So awesome! Thanks for the brilliant footage! 👍🏻
@3:00 looks like we may get another breakout just by the little vent @5:50 is there a new lava flow arriving by underground tube? Beautiful and so mesmerizing! 😳
Thank you, to quite an extent this video confirms/reinforces my orientation and location of this eruption relative to last year's eruption and flow of lava then to this valley. Old lava now being over flowed by new fresh lava.
Beautiful
Love the drone shots with music
Fantastic ! Thank you 👍👍
AWESOME!
Beautiful Flight! Thank You!
Great work w the drone- love the music!
Hard to believe we are not looking at the same volcano from a year ago. The buildup is so similar
Well done as always, just beautiful, thank you
Beautiful video, R! I don't like the look of that gully, coming down the middle of the hill, where people are watching. Looks unstable already, but you've had rain, too. Enjoy your strong legs🖖🕊️🌋volcanographer!
This is so very beautiful, lovely music as well. Thank You!
All that pent up energy under our feet makes one wonder why we have a world fuel problem. Nice footage of this volcano thank you for posting best regards to you from the uk.👍👍
Thanks for putting the hi-resolution options!
(Folks, check your settings, you might get much better than your default.)
So beautiful, I absolutely adore all your footage, Thank You x
7:02 FF VERY COOL!!!
Thanks Mate, a great video yet again. Cheers Mark and Wendy from Coonabarabran NSW Australia.
Thanks
Gutn I have to keep turning my VPM off, but it's worth it for the good brilliant footage you give. Well done that Mother Nature
Love your drone videos !
I like what I can only describe as a fireplace or semicone, an interesting compromise between the earlier completely open vents and a spatter cone. It will be interesting to see how it develops. All last year's vents rapidly produced conventional cones.
Very nice! Thank you 😊
😳😳😳💥🔥😍
Good choice of music.
Great video!
Amazing Drone Flight !!! Thanks to share this wonderfull moments with us ! Can you tell me how high you were with your drone while flying over the red lava pool ? (at 07:20) Greetings from Vienna
I love these vids that really let me get a feel for the terrain and geography of the flow.
Planning our return in 3rd week of September. I am sure it will be an entirely different volcano in another 30 or 40 days.
Question - the lava really looks like it's flowing from the main cone to the smaller one at the north - but then isn't going anywhere? Possible it's flowing back down? Or a hidden lava tube right there?
would stun even more if it were filmed at night w/zero ambient light, but still very nice footage
Noticed something, the Cone from the first volcano is facing the apposite direction. Interesting.
That's the goods!
I really enjoy your composition, with the drone shots. I wonder if it is possible to 'lock' onto a spot and then strafe slowly sideways, while staying pointed at the same spot. Like a big orbit would be sweet. You could even set it up so you start the shot with the volcano out of sight beyond the ridge, then a few seconds in, the great reveal. Then a three minute orbit, ending with the volcano disappearing behind the ridge. I'm grateful that you're there, doing this beautiful work. Thank you.
Lemme guess… your day job is…… director
@@AtomicProf not currently. But, I used to run a TV channel and have worked in various kinds of media for decades. I really do appreciate this guy's work. It's just the jiggle cam that makes me skip it. I see that as unfortunate but fixable.
My vote for a new mountain nave is Volly McCane O'face
Where is this eruption located in comparison to last year's eruption?
I did see as you panned around that it looks lower in the valley and also I think I saw steam coming from the old lava field as if the heat was just under the surface.
Looks like lava is flowing from the main vents around and down into the small northern vent. Maybe a venturi effect from the high velocity lava at the main vent?
Still trying to positively identify the position relation to the previous lava flows from last years volcano.
I believe that it is across the valley, where the lava rushed into this valley down from the big lava flows in latter period of last eruption. Visible as dark regions on the far slope behind t he current shooting lava seen during early part of this drone video.
Nice would be some clear view or map details of old and new lava deposits and areas.
I think there is still lots of volume to fill in this valley before any lava may exit to other regions. Though with profanity there may be some extension to the crust cracks leafing to the current lava fountain curtain effects.
Where is the lava going this time. Would love to see more perimeter from air. 😀❤️🌿
You are fortunate this volcano isn't in an area that the volcano threatens people, but brings income to your country.
I watched twice, more for the music 2nd time.
Sir, query: What does it Smell like ?
Hi . Is it real for nar ? It's erupt again ?
You might try setting changing white balance from auto to some daylight value like 5700K.
Ok. I ll try
is this a new rift?
August 2022, only one rift
Since Iceland has the same time zone as the UK, anyone know if there’s a specific reason why the Livefeed streams are 1 hour behind .
Iceland does not use daylight savings, so we're a hour behind the uk until october.
@@sveitadurgur Thank you 🙂
I wish the drone had air temperature and gas monitoring sensors.
I wonder if more vents will open up elsewhere.
Possible

Volcanologists have to have this whole area Wired For Sound!
At 8:25ish mins, a dragon appears.
I posted this question before , but nobody knows or cares to answer it.. How many volcanoes are erupting in Iceland?
No credit to the musician ?
müzik :!!!???
Loving the drone, but would rather hear the natural sounds.
Beautiful
