Thanks for the update literally from the road home back from your holidays. Interesting to see the beautiful flowers that are apparently introduced from Canada. I wonder if they are considered invasive as they are growing very well and might be crowding out more native plants.

The flowers are Alaskan lupine, it is all over Iceland in June

Lupines are nowadays forbidden in Finland because they spreed so easily outside from gardens, everywhere and take place and living possibilities away from our original flora.

The edges of the lava field in the foreground are likely from this volcano. You think you could do a drone video from the Arnarsetur crater when you're in the area next time?

Beautiful fountain but I don't think I'll be visiting it. While not literally claustrophobic I would not do well in a mob like that!
