this is the best of mr olympia as big as they are and none of the haters can cry bubble guts these guys were huge and still kept a v taper none in history looked this good with this conditioning
Chua
ฟฟ
Even with gut,Ronnie never ever lost his v taper bcz his superhuman lays and shoulders makes his stomach look small........That's why he is Greatest
Chris should have been a solid 2nd place
Put Jay in there as well
Ronnie was just on another level that no one will ever reach again imo
true irreplacable
I saw previous show where flex wheeler honestly gave Ronnie a run for the money but in this show it’s not even close. Ronnie is bigger and better proportioned. Flex just did not have a good enough frame he was not wide enough in the shoulders and you could really see it on stage. I didn’t realize how dominant Ronnie actually was until seeing this video.
@@networkdude1332 ronnie better propounded than Flex?
LMAO
but in 1999 flex was better and should win in tkat year
@@tomaszlaski3039 nope lol
When the judge calls out “back double bicep” you can hear someone in the crowd yelling “uh-oh!” 😆💪🏼💪🏼
Flexwheeler is simply superb.
Man I forgot how good Chris looked that year. Phenomenal condition from all 3
Unlike Flex or Ronnie, Chris figured out running Cytadren starting 5 wks out from a show dried him out better than anything else and removed alot of pressure of getting it all right at the end using pesky diuretics.
Chris and flex look amazing standing next to each other but when ronnie is put in between them you see that the king was on a completely different level especially when they quarter turned to the rear his glute development was insane in this show
Muscles of the bodybuilders competing is much much more than the muscles shown in that given trophy 🏆
😅
I totally agree!!
Chris's arms look really suspicious. How can you be peeled all over, and vascular, then have super smooth water balloon looking biceps?
We already know Flex has the oil arms.
Ronnie has Ronnie in his biceps, no fake crap.
@@dublbude in this show actually I wouldn't say that Flex arms have oil, they look vascular and at the same level of cutness as his legs
Best version of Ronnie! No one in history can beat this physique!
Totally agree!!!
Straight up ……….. Nigga!
Bruh!!... i was in awe!
YEP! YEP! YEP!
@@analogueconsciousness8112 and this is what we call an opinion...
8:45 that is unbeatable! What a freak!
9:38 perfect just perfect.
Exactly
Just watched the 2021 Arnold finals, and no disrespect to today's bodybuilders, but this video just shows how much more amazing '99 Ronnie, Flex, and Chris were compared to Nick, Ian, and Steve of today. Night and day difference.
Right?! Todays guys just for some reason never come in with the same level of conditioning and I don’t know why. I think the last time we saw crazy conditioning was the last showdowns between Ronnie and Jay then things seems to changed to pure mass and size and conditioning dropped off.
@@fartnutssupreme4930 I believe the quality of the muscle has also gone down due to insulin use. They use to use back in the 90s as well but I believe it had just started to take off during the mid or late 90s. Dorian said he used it prior to the 97 Olympia and while he did gain a lot more muscle that it wasn't quality muscle. Less separation between the muscle groups like from the delts and biceps for example. I believe that is why alot of today's bodybuilders look like mutants
The 90s was the greatest decade for bodybuilding today’s Olympia Competitors wouldn’t even make the top 5 Big Ramy would get destroyed by Dorian Yates, Ronnie Coleman and jay cutler and so on..The standards for bodybuilding today is less disciplined they still look amazing but back then they didn’t blast a bunch of steroids like they do today most 90s bodybuilders are still alive today because they did everything correctly
The lighting was Better at this show and this is the Olympia.
Bro u didn't disrespect them , this bodybuilders of today they disrespected this game by showing their selfs at the stage
Ronnie '99 is the best physique in the history of mankind, and we are lucky to witness it.
He was big and taller, to me I would definitely prefer to look like flex wheeler
@@theriseofnumidia Man, Wheeler was full of oil, he looked bad.
@@ferminordonez4275 absolutely he looks better at his prime,
@@theriseofnumidia Yeah, in his prime, not in the 99, even Coleman looked more aesthetic.
best physiqueß mass wise..shape wise Jay and Flex
All three of these guys display phenomenal physiques.
Mannn….Ronnie’s individual posing routine is just awe inspiring. It was more simpler than Flex and Chris…he just came out and shown arguably the greatest physique of all time and basked in the moment, almost gracious in the moment. Really ridiculous conditioning and size….shape and symmetry too. Goat material
No one in history can beat Ronnie in 99 and 03. Not Phil, not Dorian, not Cutler, not anybody. The best to ever do it.
2013-2011 Phil, 93-96 Dorian
99 real mr o was flex not ronney
Yeeeeeeeah... Right.
@@akbarshaikh477 why is that? Not saying I disagree but you need to see what Ronnie had that flex didn’t and pictures and video don’t do justice you need to be there. If you’s that are commenting have never seen Ronnie up close stop saying who he would lose to based on shitty video quality and pictures. In 99 flex looked great but I think Ronnie was better at prejudging that’s when most shows are won.
dorian beats 99 ronnie hands down
front lat spread
back lat spread
side triceps
abs thigh
4 of 7 mandtaories in 90s
GAME
OVER
Even the back double is debatable as dorians back delts calves smoke ronnies
ronnie only flat out wins hams and biceps peak
remember 93 dorian was 257 lb just like 99 ronnie, but dorian was even drier and denser-which unfortunately doesnt show up well in old pics or videos
as for 03, no way thats ronnies best
condition was crap, had a huge gut ,biggest ass ever-not a good thing, and overdeveloped quads, and the back altho huge was way softer and lacking n detail
03=redundant size
Best Years Of Bodybuilding ❤️🔥👌🏻
2003
Ronnie Coleman one of the best physiques cannot be matched in the sport today.
Kinda insulting to use “one of”
Watching Ronnie in this gave me chills and reminds me of watching Michael Jordan. Just mind blowing. A whole other level on size, separation, conditioning. Way above the rest. It also highlights how far the standard has dropped since.
Right!!
Muscles of the bodybuilders competing is much much more than the muscles shown in that given trophy 🏆
😅
Gut, no forearms and a little bit of gyno say otherwise...
My first time of watching Ronnie's routine from '99. Incredible! His back poses were amazing. 🙀
What a line up! The best era of bb.
Just look at all these gentleman.....damn...the conditioning, muscle separation, shoulder to wait to thigh ratio...........just pure awesomeness, the 90's was stacked with legends.
Many were unlucky not to win just because the era was just saturated with awesome physiques.
Alas the physiques of today look like lab experiments gone wrong...........just ugly massive physiques.
Thanks for the upload.
This was the best Mr. Olympia ever! 🙌💯💪
No human has ever hit Ron's Level!
And that is what we call an opinion, kids.
@@matarahmadal_atif9359 enlighten us mr know it all .. who is better than Ronnie ?? Kid.
Gotta love that HD crystal clear video with perfect 90’s lighting.
1999 Mr. Olympia Chris Cormier's back development is unbelievable the second best back after Ronnie 😎
Chris is an absolute legend 🌟👍😁
Wow its like watching the bodybuilding all-star game. Best bodybuilding show in history.
Always like flex wheeler, want to see him winning atleast one Mr. Olimpia title but honestly no one can beat this version of king Coleman, no body.. G.O.A.T. king Ron.
Ronnie's biceps have biceps.
All Unforgettable Legends
Ronnie looking like a walking talking muscle diagram. That back is just truly insane.
The detail on the back was just next level.
at normal without posing flex looks mascular but when executing a pose ronnie is spectacular
Epic battle . No words for this tournament
Coleman numero uno in assoluto irraggiungibile imbattibile inarrivabile
É, não tem jeito. Colemann era imbatível nessa época. Volume, simetria e definição perfeitos!
90s the era of Kings of bodybuilders all bodybuilders are the legends
That upper body ,the arm and the back of Ronie Coleman is the maximal that bodybuilder can ever reach. His abs is really iconic, what kind of workout to make abs like that.
No one in that stage are like that.
No one beats Ronnie in 99. Not Dorian, not jay, not Phil
Only Flex!
@@cercelsever814 but Ronnie had beaten flex that time it means no one could have beaten Ronnie that era
@@badalsinghthakur8442 Look at these pictures and answer honestly if you think Ronnie really won in front of Flex that year ?!
Flex in 1999 was the God of bodybuilding but the referees disfavored him as they have done in the past with Mentzer, Nasser, or later with Jay or Victor Martinez at mr. Olympia. The truth is that Ronnie in general was perhaps the best of all time!
@@cercelsever814 Ronnie's body was the best body ever all time
@@badalsinghthakur8442 Absolutely agree with you with the statement that at Mr. Olympia 1999, Flex was the king!
All the 90's guys had insane conditioning 😲👌
Ronnie Coleman monstro 💪🏼🔥🔥
King Coleman is far superior all day, all night, all year long. Untouchable. His posing is slow and beautiful. More pleasent to watch than Flex disco hip hop dancing on stage with fast posing.
Best Mr olympia version Al of the time 👌🏼
For me Ron Coleman is the another level
Best olympia I’ve seen
Crazy beasts....... One rules..... They have changed the bodybuilding world.
Sad to hear flex loosing his leg . But it awsome that he still exercises in the gym and is helping new talent. Similar with Ronnie...... Had multiple surgeries but still standing .
That's why they will always be champions irrespective of their health and recent conditions.
God bless you all ..,....... Champs forever
What a great line up, miss these days.
Man, how do you pick between these guys. They are al on point!!!! Unreal.. 10xs better than today.
So Awesome
Romantic era of bodybuilding
Can’t imagine 2 of the 3 bodybuilding legends can’t even walk now
Ronnies back was injured before he started bodybuilding..when he was playing football ....and flex had a rare hereditary kidney disease ..that's why the other one came out physical well because he did not have preexisting injuries or sickness before bodybuiding ..
Cormier Beats Flex all day. 99 Ronnie could beat everyone for the last 23 years!!! Insane package 🔥🔥
just from ronnie's posing routine alone, i can tell that he really enjoy what he does.
Thats why90s kids childhood was awesome
Ahhhhh yes, the good ole days when the competitors looked absolutely amazing AND actually did a posing routine. Unfortunately posing has gone by the wayside these days. I really miss seeing the end result of a lot of work on a posing routine.
Ronnie, good poser?

All three are superb....
Antigamente era um show mesmo 👏👏 hoje em dia os caras não fazem nada disso, é uma pena porque esse show buzines deixa tudo mais legal, top demais 👏
Ronnie Coleman’s routine appeared graceful and humble with sincerity - personality plays a large part in winning and I think many bodybuilders neglect this aspect. Ronnie is sincere and seems to be truly himself - this in itself scores major points with the judges, aside from him having an amazing physique.
I agree. Flex Wheeelers cocky attitude and grim smile togheter with that ear rings makes one want to punch him in the face. He looks like he watch himself in the mirror when wanking/jerking.
They are so unbelievably diced.
Ronnie is Just from another planet
Craziest thing about Ron might be the fact that he looks like he used no synthol and yet everyone else was filled. It’s wild
El doble de bicep de Coleman es indubitamente impresionante!
they're all so amazing but Chris' routine was meant for another stage lmao
Hahahahah
🤣🤣🤣🤣 he looked drunk.
Yeah, I did not like all that stripper s%#t
Watching a extremely muscular grown man strip-dance is very odd. 🤣
hahahah
Cris' physique was stunning!!
Não vai ter outro igual ,a lenda da história fisiculturismo
Best version of big Ron
Yeah Buddy , light weight baby !!!
Ronnie is a beast, no one can beat that physique.
I was here, a sophomore in college with a friend-drove into Vegas from Redlands, CA (this was the first one in Vegas-at the mandalay bay), first and only olympia I attended happened to be the most controversial as well as Coleman's first win of 8....the expo before hand was great-met lots of pros-the only person that was not nice was shawn ray-really cocky dude with a 'tude....but all else were nice.
Coleman had rips and cuts in his biceps 💪🏾 😳 that clearly separated him from the competition if every other body part was close. I don't think we'll ever see those type of biceps ever again 😎👍🏾
It will not be duplicated anymore....PERIOD
Chris Cormier the Real Deal pose .. wow 👌
Boa, a das antigas ,.muito bom sucesso
Uma das maiores batalhas de todos os tempos
No line up will ever look this good ever again. They were all huge but had tiny waist and incredible aesthetics. The bodybuilders today can't even compete to the bodybuilders in 90's
Chris was ultra crisp here and I had him in 2nd ahead of flex but I’m not a ifbb judge
Flex wheeler deserve 1 st place, no one can beat as one of the best cemmetry bodybuilder ever, respect & salute to flex
One thing for sure they both were making it hard for Ronnie 💪
Best lineup ever. 💪
Ronnie is just dominating these guys....Flex wheeler needed to have tighter hamstrings and glutes and a wider rear lat spread. As has been often said, Bodybuilding shows are won from the back...and nobody in history has ever shown a better back side then Ronnie...
Ronnie’s hams and calves weren’t displayed well from the rear at all! They were all good. Flex posed his physique the worst of the three but I’ve always felt he never knew how to select the correct poses or posing routine for his physique.
This is probably a controversial opinion, but prime Cormier is IMO better than prime Dexter Jackson, Chris lacked no bodypart at all, he even had good calves, his structure was ideal and his development was very well proportioned.
That shape could have been Mr O in the 80s.
He could have had bigger arms
I agree . He was pretty flawless in all areas.
He was better than Flex in this show fpr sure, Flex reeked of oil everywhere and his rear lat spread was so narrow
God Bless Ronnie!
I can’t with the music choices 😂😂 and the girl in the background screaming “ take me home daddy!”
Oh 😢😂😂😂
Ronnie coleman with background music
He sound like flute😂
I don't think the music is from funeral
Hermosos,guapos y perfectos...están muy lindos...que bellezas de Machos
Best line up ever
Flex ran over to hug Chris as if to tell him ‘bro we are settling for 2nd and 3rd’
Ronnie was light years ahead of all these guys...his size and condition is on another level.
like he said he had 'technology'... lol
what video did you watch? size? where is he bigger than cormier
they have remarkably similar sized legs, id even argue cormiers quads are better separated and way more feathered. And he has slightly better calves
Cormier is easily matchin ronnie on lat width also, noticeable in the w lat spreads
ronnie has slightly bigger upper arms and more striated glutes but thats about it
cormiers abs smoke ronnies
Ronnie Coleman is AMAZING
9:38 just perfect !
Bruh!!.. who can argue that?...
Me encanta Coleman 😚👌🏻😘💞👍🏻💓💗😍💖💝🤗💚💘💟💟😻💜💕💛♥️💌
Tb to when their bodys looked like a piece of art!
Esses caras hoje em dia seria campeões direto
Ronnie's back in my opinion stands out here against the other two competitors .
Realmente, isso não teremos novamente
Ronnie definitely WIN 👍
1999 Mr.Olympia in my opinion:
1. Flex Wheeler
2. Kevin Levrone
3. Ronnie Coleman
Ronnie was a freak.. but Flex was perfection at its peak.. just so pleasing to the eyes..
Ronnies conditioning and detail is out of this world. No one in history is beating this physique. No jay cutlers, no flex wheelers, no Phil heaths (although closest) are beating 1999 coleman. The quality of muscle and conditioning is the best any human has ever achieved.
i agree...
Dorian had same size( 257 lb in 93 just as 99 Ron) and even better conditioning
I would even argue Yates had better balance in the lower body becuse he had calves
If you really think about it Dorian has none of the issues that prevent the 3 guys you mentioned in your comment from taking Ron out
Jay has size but falters from the back, Yates dont have that issue as he was proly even better from the back than Ronnie
Flex was narrow and soft, Yates was much wider and best ever condition
Phil is too small, albeit well conditioned. Id say his balance is a bit off, too arm dominant and even lowr body dominant 2013 or after.Yates has NONE of these issues , yet again.he is is not too small and certainly not badly balanced, esp 93 or 95
Really the only argument Ron has over Yates is the shape argument but historically shape hasnt decided contests, esp in modern era
@3:24 i dont think the ladies knew weather to look or throw dollars at Cormier
🤣😂🤣
Chris is sick bro 💪🏻
