When you see the Olympia competitors on stage dehydrated and all oiled up in a lil Speedo it almost doesn’t seems real and feels cartoonish where it’s hard to comprehend and be impressed to an extent for me.

He's not the most conditioned, he's not aesthetic really, a wide waist sure but he's fucking huge and full blown without any distention or hernias and so on. I mean it's what any bodybuilder would want to look like. Sure Phil heath and Ronnie Coleman are better at their best but a 2001 jay is damn close to any of their versions. 1993 Dorian is also up there.

Ronnie and Jay are my two favorite open guys of all time, they were literally polar opposites, from their demeanors to their training styles to their diets etc, but together they pushed each other to unbelievable limits. Ronnie was probably slightly better than Jay in his prime, but the quad stomp is, in my opinion, the most iconic moment in bodybuilding, and Jay still looks great and stays healthy to this day.
