Chris Harris's driving is just utterly ridiculous, he executed that slide magnificently, what a driver!
@Lassi Kinnunen Because you're such a great driver that drifting a McLaren 570S on gravel is something you could just do with absolutely no practice at all, right?
It looked good but all he did was counter steer and go full throttle in first. Anyone could do that. It wasn't even the fastest line. It just looks good for the camera.

You do know they don't actually perform any stunts with these cars. From all the videos shot outside the car you can clearly tell somone else is bihind the wheel due to them having shades, difrent handgrip, different color clothes.
You can say what you want about these guys vs Claskson and the boys, but none of the old guard can slide the way Chris slides. That POV slide around the trailer was epic.
So bad need the legends Clarkson , Hammond and May.

I know a shot like 2:35 isn't common, because as a car show, it relies on sharp cuts and quick editing to create excitement, but by god. Harris has some skills.
This isn't the old TG, and it's not TGT, but so far it's becoming quite a fun little project for these three. They'll get a great show just yet, don't worry.

Ken Block died at age 55 in a snowmobile accident near his ranch in Woodland, Utah, on January 2, 2023. The Wasatch County sheriff's department reported that Block had been riding in the Mill Hollow area when his snowmobile upended on a steep slope and landed on top of him. Block was declared dead at the scene of the accident
I was in tears.

I miss the real challenges from older top gear, all the challenges i see in the new series are obviously pre-rehersed and come across as stunt shows. All my favorite Top Gear moments are of the live challenges. The police and big rig episodes come to mind.

It's a bit insulting to all the people behind the scenes who worked at Top Gear to think that everything that was great about Top Gear was its presenters. So it's a bit of a misnomer to say they're copying.
