I put my vinyl shower curtain liner in the washing machine with a towel or 2. The towels help clean the liner. When the cycle is done, I take out the liner and let it air dry. Gets rid of all the hard water soap scum too!
Great idea. I just usually spray the inside of my shower curtain liner down with bleach once a week after I take a shower.
I wash my vinyl and cloth curtains together and with a couple of towels and hang both straight from washer. The weight of the damp curtains keeps them from being wrinkled as they dry. The bathroom smells so much better for a couple of days
Sally Snodgrass I do the same with my shower vinyl should shower curtain.
@@JOYELLE93 : Yes I do that also.
Great tip! Thank you!đ
Use one cup vinegar in each load of wash , good disinfectant and helps with stale odds. Brightens too., without bleaching your towels and other things. Been using it for many many years. Use it for cleaning toilets too.
Watch the vinegar in washing machines as it can damage the hoses & rubber seals over time.
Love your videos! Great ideas-- natural products, cheap to put together! Thanks!
I see the Haters are alive and unfortunately well spoken here. For us positive open to new ideas you're doing a great job. Thanks.
OMG this video was SO helpful. I never even thought about the toilet tank or the shower linerđ„Ž
Amazing video, straight to the point and you actually give useful hacks with easy to find products.
Love tour video!go straight to the point, using natural stuff, love it!
I used the essential oil in the toilet role and yes it makes my bathroom smell wonderful
Doesn't doing that soak through the role onto the toilet paper? I'd hate to use toilet paper that had been used with essential oils.
I pour Fabuloso or something similar, along with a little rubbing alcohol, in the toilet brush holder and leave it there. Every time you pull out the brush to clean the toilet, you get that nice scent.
Nice, but quite toxic. Most vets will tell you how dangerous Fabuloso and other scented products are.
Very creative!
Tea tree and peppermint oils are my favorite around the house. I actually buy the big bottles with droppers so I can add a lot to my DIY cleaners!
I love peppermint: it's so calming and refreshing at the same time.
Stay away from tea tree if you have cats!
I use eucalyptus đđ
I didn't know that. I have a cat and was gonna get this sample kit she shows. Why is it bad for cats? Is it the smell? Now I know not to use that one. Thanks for the tip I had no idea.
@@aliciamcgilloway3707 Sadly, Tea Tree oil is toxic for cats - and dogs, too!
Iâm gonna try these hacks. Lavender is my favorite
Thank you for all the tips.I like Dollar Tree.I need to get to the store, soon.I appreciate your money saving ideas.
I find the citric acid in the canning area. Instead of lemon use vinegar for the drains after 1/2 hour pour down a few cups of boiling water. Do this once a week.
Love these ideas! One of my favorite tricks is using OxyClean in every load of towels. We no longer have that icky smell in our towels. Thanks for sharing!
Sound good I'll try it. My towel smells ok till I dry with it and it gets damp.then it will stink up bathroom it smells like maybe a dryer belt
I am so happy I found your videos! Thank you for making things simply do-able with the ingredients I have in my house.
You are so welcome!
Great ideas! And you have a really nice show more section! Good links for some very worthwhile and usable products! Thank you!
I put wax melts cubes in a small pretty dish on the toilet tank and it smells great! Looks pretty too
4:50 those moisture removing silica boxes are also reuseable, you just dry the moisture beads out in your oven at the lowest setting or even better in a dehumidifyer :)!
Neat! Thanks for the tip!
Perfect, Iâve been looking for a way to use my diarrhea scented essential oil!
Who else feels inspired to up their cleaning game? Part of me also acknowledges ain't no way my house will ever be as clean as hers.
These are really good hacks...Iâll have to try this âșïž
Thank you for your advice.

Excellent ideas, I love a beautiful good smelling bathroom đœ
Great ideas thhanks alot
thanks a lotđ
Imao with towels. Get the super cheap, white towels at Wally World. Then bleach them every wash. They wear out, but they are inexpensive and it keeps things fresh if you feel ok about using bleach.
People wonder why my entire towel closet is white. I've only used white towels for pass ten years for that reason. Bleach them babies! Lol
Under clogging my drain I use baking soda and vinegar it works too
Thankyou Andria đđđđ
Love the ring
Thereâs disposable toilet bowl cleaner sponges today. So much easier.
Love this video
Do you buy rubbing alcohol in bulk? Do you have a recommendation or link for ordering? Enjoying your videos. Thanks!

Is that what you used to clean the toilet tank. I have a serious rust issue with my water. Sometimes after heavy use even with the softener running 4 times in a 12 day cycle, the water gets very rusty, even orange at times.
Thank you. So many good ideas.
You are so welcome!

I was told by a doctor shut the lid before you flush
Always ! Flush with the lid open and all those germs fly onto everything in the room.
@@lindalentz5093 Exactly that's why I shut the lid.đ
But OPEN it once it's done flushing........I hate running to the bathroom and I'm ready to squat and the lid is closed.....đĄ.......its HARD trying to stop it once u have started......ijs
@@msbscott4277 So very true. Open it back up. totallY agree đđ»âșïž
I shut the lid down before flushing and I leave it down when not using it.
Iâve never tried the oils in the toilet paper roll but I have tons of oils so Iâm going to give it a try with lemon and orange oils.
I tried the baby oil but I don't think I used enough. I was leary seeping into the tissue and it getting it into my private area. I will try it again though
I've tried it with Lavender but the smell doesn't last very long.
I love to use odo ban smells so good it kills germs it's a air freshener and you can use it in your wash great hacks I do clean with vinegar and baking soda
Pet friendly too
Just toss your plastic liner in the washing machine tah dah!
đđđ
Right now, mine is ripped, so have to buy another cheapie.
Not only that, I like change
Yeah I get a cloth liner and just wash and dry it in the machines!
Put vinegar in the rinse water. Then run in the dryer about 5 minutes (even tho itâs plastic). That will make it soft and get rid of wrinkles.
Just toss in washer on gentle cycle with a little bleach dry on lowest setting 5 min.
Thanks for the Alcohol and vinegar tip.
For the tissue they have with it lavendar already in it at Family Dollar the generic Angel Soft with Lavendar scent
Great advice!
Shower curtain liner can be put in the washing machine Hooks and all as long as those hooks are not steal
Thank you.
You're welcome!
What size spray bottle please?
Super!
Thank you s0 much â€
You're welcome đ
I place my shower curtain in the washer and dry it in the dryer. Works great! I was it once a month!
I do the same thing every weekend
I wash my liner too but don't put it in the dryer I hang it back up to dry out
Great video!! Great tips for a good smelling place that always needs to smell good!! đâșïž
Great..
Amazing
Txn love I appreciate
Essential oils can be dangerous to cats I like to stick to natural stuff like vinegar lemons and bicarb and believe it or not I sometimes clean the sink with the cheapest toothpaste it leaves a lovely fresh mint smell and is very cleansing.
I agree essential oils are toxic to cats and dogs I wouldn't use them
@AllGuts NoGlory ...and surprisingly...quite a few humans can't process them either! Those that work for the Essential Oil industry would have everyone believe that they are perfectly safe....and yet they are NOT. Yes to Lemons, Vinegar and baking soda.
@@bonniemoerdyk9809 yes, they are very safe if used correctly. Even if used incorrectly theyâre pretty safe. Now if you have certain health conditions you should do your homework before slapping on x y or z OR shaking it into your diffuser. Other than that Iâd trust an essential oil more than x y or z over the counter or RX any day!!
@AllGuts NoGlory well that sucks but they know to never do that again. Guess thatâs how some have to learn đđ»
@AllGuts NoGlory .. There is a book called "Allergy-Free Gardening" that I check out of our library whenever I plan on buying new perennials for my yard. It rates each plant on a 1-10 allergy scale depending on how "allergic" the plant is to most people who suffer allergies. Most of the allergies come from the male plant of the species. So say if a person who suffers allergies to Juniper shrubs, that person may be fine with planting the female version of said plant. The reason the male plant is 'more allergic' is the pollen it releases into the air, and the correlation of pollen to sperm was covered (I think in that book). It also said Eucalyptus is very high on the scale , 9 or 10 I believe. Speaking of enzymes, my daughter lacks the enzyme needed to break down alcohol. We found out the hard way by her spending 2 days in the hospital on her 21st birthday. The doctor said she lacks the enzyme necessary to break it down, and her stomach ripped open and she lost a lot of blood. Not completely convinced he was right, about a year later she tried a drink again...same thing happened!
And thanks
Fabulous
Why not hydrogen peroxide or vinegar inside the top lid (back)?
Please tell! đ„°
How about a disposable toilet brush. Maybe lemon concentrate in a spray bottle.
Tysm for all the lovely smelling tipsâ€
Are there biodegradable toilet brushes??
