- In this video, we try and analyze if the i20 N-Line is a better pick over the VW Polo - a 10 year old car but still a benchmark in the dynamics. Though this one has the same 1.0-litre turbo engine that powers the regular turbo model, but it has got revised steering geometry and suspension setup.

@@ICN well presented with great detail and information which would help the upcoming buyers of N-line to make their choice. It was to the point 👍🏻 the only thing I wanna ask you is mine shows a mileage between 9-10 in city.. is this a normal thing for DCT turbos? Of course the driving style matters for good mileage and good psi of air in all tyres. Should I keep air pressure maintained at 33 in all tyres?
@@nalinhanda every small displacement turbo engine is bound to give a little less mileage, unless you never go hit the turbo band...find where the turbo starts and try to stay below that rpm for the best mileage, but ofcourse the least fun. Plus, DCT is made for performance and not b2b traffic in our cities - it gives the least mileage compared to all other auto transmissions. Nonetheless, the mileage you're getting is pretty good, comparing all that's in your hand👍
@@nalinhanda turbo starts at 2000 rpm, keep it under it and you will get healthy average. Air pressure should be 34 to be on safer side, though service centre filled 35 when I got my first service done. In bumper to bumper traffic, drive it as manual(neutral whenever you stop, D mode when moving) to get comparatively better average.
Also when you start the car, give it a 2-3 minutes before driving, so that oil can reach all parts of engine. Same after driving when you are about to stop, don't kill the engine straight away , when you halt, keep it running for 2-3 minutes and car will give longer life 😀

You missed the part that the biggest flaw of this car is to miss a proper manual gearbox. DCT might be good but Hyundai should fire the man who decided IMT in this

Bro, imt performs better than dct in i20nline. Just watch the nline review of imt. Imt is better than dct and definitely much better than regular manual. Drive it to experience it
Please drive an iMT i20 NLine first. It's a great transmission.
@@digantasarkar7003 i know it's great for convenience but not so much for a performance hatch. It can't launch well , the high rpm downshifts become notchy and so on. That's why the OG i20N has proper manual
IMT is better for city users then DCT which has heating issues . IMT is more durable and driving is better with gear control in our hand .
What about the body build of N line as compared to polo .

Or if possible ek video es agar aap bana den ki first time car buyer should buy a padal shifter/manual/automatic car toh bhut help hogi bhut saare logon ki because meri tarah bhut log honge jo padal shifter se kaafi intimidated feel krte honge.

Hi, Between i20 and the new Venue, which car is more suitable for a driver to go on a long drive so that he doesn't get tired and also which car would be more comfortable if 2 people are traveling in rear seat for 200 to 400km

Actually bonete of polo is very wide and long and planty of space arround engine probably for seafty. I20 better for practicalliti.
But any one needs a performance oriented safe car blindly go to polo tsi manual.

I and my friend got I20 Nline DCT and IMT respectively. The car is great in terms of handling, have great road presence, I'm actually able to get average of 15-17 kmpl easily in city drive. This is definitely a fun to drive car as well as family car. 😀

Doesn't the i10nios turbo has the same engine too and isn't it faster to 100?? Would love to see a drag race between them and. What changes have been made to the engine in i10. Nios turbo to detune it to 99/100 bhp?? Can a remap to its 120 bhp form like in venue, verna, nline i20 make the i10 nios turbo faster still than these cars?

For that they need to open servuce center in tier -2 & 3 cities first

Then obviously Hyundai and Suzuki will upgrade their line up as well. You should see Hyndai and Kias Business Model, they are successful in every European, US and African Market.
Service cost ,availability and practicality has always been a downside for VW and Skoda
@@indroneel9 I tested VW polo tsi and Hyundai i20 dct turbo, the price I would have paid for VW polo tsi would not be worth it. I20 has more space and a real performance car. Every product has some downsides but Hyundai is better in service I drove Tata as well for three years but Hyundai has better customer service and better dealership experience.

Astor is a well built car.. Its a good choice
If the Honda City 4th gen is still selling you might want to try it out. Great NA engine and good handling and even better practicality. If you can stretch the budget a bit maybe the 5th gen City base model can also be good choice.

@@ICN If possible please get it confirmed. Also there is a price difference between N line and i20 Turbo IMT. I actually liked IMT. Because of non-availability of IMT Asta I am planning to go for either Polo or Tiago NRG
My dealer told me the same thing as well, they are insisting me to buy N line from long time. I think they have to reach targets for nline i20 maybe.
