What coil pack brand did you use? I hear on the forums to only use oem. I can pick up a set of Hanshin coils but they are about $110 each. If its worth it I’ll do it, looking to get coils as it hasnt been done in a very long time.

the non oem coil packs will trip a fault code in your traction control sensor and are not recommended for safety.(source:tried the cheap coils)

As long as you buy Bosch, NGK or another well known OEM supplier you should be good to go. Like you said cheap coils have uneven resistance and will cause the ECU to trip a code.
