@@havalopez I had an opportunity to buy a pikachu vmax TG for only $35 the other day. Even told the shop owner it was over $50 now. Shop owner said “I love your channel so you can have it for $35 still” 😂 I decided not to buy it though simply cause OC and some edge wear. (A wise pokemon collector knows condition is everything in this hobby)

Lol, Pokémon investing. I just buy the card I want without worrying about the price. If the card drops 100 bucks or goes up a 100. I’m ok with it.

I just bought the eevee at my lgs at £36 two days ago. It was on ebay for about the same. Today i checked ebay and its 45. So im happy. Honestly think this will go up and stay up for a long time. There a huge amount of eevee collectors compared to other mons
You may be right. But it’s not Umbreon and there will be a large influx of copies hitting the market over the next week. I’m extremely curious to find out if I’m wrong or not, trust me.
I think the biggest thing we need to remember is that we are still within re-print window's for all of these sets. I think we all have a problem with FOMO...
FOMO is sadly a massive part of what makes collectibles, collectible? 🥴

Really need the eevee. Hoping it comes down but been able to snag Groudon, tyranitar, raichou and raging bolt all at a great price. Before they took off. Love your takes man.

I wish I bought the Dragonite V alt when it was around $90.. missed out on the Groudon as well. But only bc I max'd out my Pokemon budget on buying other fire cards so I'm not that upset lol

I've been sorting through swsh bulk. Should I keep separating the energy cards? I'm putting the cards in 3200 count boxes, I'm definitely not counting them I'm just neatly filling the boxes up. Have no idea what to do with it
I don’t save energies unless they in the plastic. Sorting bulk by energy is good though
I'm stubborn in the sense that if a set is still readily available for ripping, I'll take my chances at pulling my chases over buying it as a single. I'm in the poor house but the road to get here was really fun! Haha!
I also feel like what's happening right now in the market is unsustainable. Sure, some of these cards are not easy to pull but the prices for certain singles that just came out this year is a bit wacky. Only time will tell, I suppose.

@@MimikBrewIn a nutshell, perhaps. It's way more complex and layered than that, tho. Hahaha! Good assessment. There's nothing like the thrill of the chase! I guess my thinking is why spend $50 on a ultra modern single when I can get maybe 15 packs for that price (on a good deal) and see what pans out. It's worked for me on many occasions. Maybe failed me on even more tho, haha. It is fun, tho and it's hard to beat that rush you get from pulling a chase.

Will you be going to card party's
I will be going to Card Party 3 yes. 😂 2 however, DPM did actually reach out to me and ask but it was a bit short notice for me for work reasons among a few other things. Next year however 100%. Also if you ever visit Arizona, I’ll be attending every single TCG TOPIA event which is held 4x year. And a crazy high level card show as well.
@@MimikBrew I travel quite a bit, mostly for Pokemon, but Arizona is quite some trip for me, since I'm in Indiana, but hey maybe one day. Trying to get into vending events, so no telling where that may take me..
