Netarhat to Mainpat Offbeat Destination of Chhattisgarh

It was a memorable journey from Kolkata to Mainpat (Chhattisgarh) via Netarhat (Jharkhand) in our pulsar 150cc bike. In this video the story begins from Netarhat, the queen of Chotanagpur Hills at an altitude of 1071 m. Netarhat is a popular tourist destination, specially among the Bengalis. We witnessed the mesmerizing sunrise from the sunrise point beside Hotel Prabhat Vihar. But we had a long journey ahead. The plan was to reach the offbeat hill station of Chhattisgarh, Mainpat, via Mahuadanr, Lodh waterfall, Kushmi, Ambikapur, etc. covering a distance of total 237 km. With a drop of around 470 ft Lodh falls stands to be the tallest waterfall of Jharkhand. From here we crossed the border of Jharkhand and entered Chhattisgarh through an extreme off road totally cut off from the localities. The ride became more adventurous with some misguidance of Google. But the bare beauty of nature compensated for all the troubles. Finally we reached Ambikapur, a prominent city of Chhattisragh. Mainpat is at a distance of around 50 km from there uphill. The winding roads through the colourful forests up to Mainpat is surely a rider's paradise. Mainpat is a small hill station in the Surguja district of Chhattisgarh on a tabletop mountain at an elevation of 1085 m. We rested for the night at Anmol Resort in Mainpat. চোখ জুড়ানো নূতন নূতন প্রকৃতির রূপ। অসাধারণ লাগছিলো।জন মানবহীন এই রাস্তায় আমার তো ভয় ভয় করছিল।
যাইহোক, প্রকৃতির এই রূপ দেখে খুব ভালো লাগলো। ধন্যবাদ।

দুপুর গড়িয়ে বিকেল আসতেই জানতে পারলাম। বড়কষ্টে রাতে দেখবো বলে ধৈর্য ধরে ছিলাম। দারুন লাগলো। বেশ কিছু অংশ তো ভীষণ রকমের রোমাঞ্চকর। এত জনবিরল অঞ্চলের মধ্যে দিয়ে চললেন সুদুরের পিয়াসীরা। আপনারা ঐ তীব্র থেকে তীব্রতর কঠিন পথে চললেন- এদিকে ঘরে বসে দেখতে দেখতে আমার সেকি জল পিপাসা!!!ঢকঢক করে জল খাচ্ছি আর দেখছি।😃। অসাধারণ লাগলো এই ভীষন রোমাঞ্চকর ভিডিও। তুলনা নেই আপনাদের অধ্যাবসায়ের। অনেক ধন্যবাদ ও শুভকামনা জানাই।
