Did you buy you ticket last minute? 8k is uber expensive. Two of us flying over in August of this year from Boston - is $7200. You can also buy a cheaper class on Delta and then check the flight on "My Trips" and see if the prices drop on their Delta One class service. Most of the time you can upgrade for far less than paying for your Delta One class ticket right away. We got 2 RT fares BOS to AMS for $4400. The really great thing is you can also upgrade to Air France or KLM as well as any of their other partners.
Great video! You were visited by the perennial haunts of air travel- maintenance and turbulence. Delta takes great care of their airplanes but still something breaks now and then. I'm a recently retired Delta captain (I flew the 76 for about 8 years) and flight planning involves rough air avoidance but it's a constantly moving target that ignores forecast models. You seemed to compare the 76 to the A320. I think you meant the A330 or A350, Delta doesn't fly the A320 on transoceanic flights, JetBlue does. Happy landings.
SHITE! 8K for one person, one way?? I just bought 2 Delta One seats roundtrip PHX-JFK-ZRH for $5500 and entrance to Delta One lounge at JFK for next year! Holy moley. Flying the 767-400 tho! woot

This looks tacky as shit! I want knitted slippers and cotton throws for $8k! The fittings look cheap and plasticky. I want a personalized Squishmallow for that price and all you got was tinny headphones and a flimsy wall divider. And that bathroom is mingin'. Flat out stopped me buying Delta One.Thanks!!

He's on a old plane 767-400 he should while booking his flight what see aircraft would his flight be. When I fly to CDG from SEA I book Delta One A330-neo so I have a suite.
