  • Welcome to a tour of my craft room (craft corner). All of the furniture pieces I have are from IKEA, names are below.
I mention a RÅSKOG cart, it's not actually RÅSKOG, it's RISATORP. I like it much better compared to RISATORP. It has much more space.
    ▬▬▬▬▬ ● VIDEOS MENTIONED ● ▬▬▬▬▬
    • I Have Moved! A Quick Look At My New Craft Corner - • I Have Moved! A Quick ...
    ▬▬▬▬▬ ● IKEA PIECES MENTIONED ● ▬▬▬▬▬
    • IKEA KALLAX workstation 190.465.50 (in white). I have an older model which I purchased 5 or so years ago. IKEA still makes this workstation, but it looks slightly different (table legs are different).
IKEA Containers I use on my desk to organize:
    • KUGGIS 202.802.07 (for ink blending tools), 502.823.04 (for paper sheets, fits full sheets, uncut), 602.802.05 (for more paper or other large objects)
    • SUNNERSTA 002.802.08 (for pencils, I also clip it onto my cart)
    • VARIERA 301.550.19 (for pre cut paper)
    • IKEA Peg Boards SKÅDIS 003.208.03. have 2 peg boards mounted onto the desk (using 103.207.89 connectors).
Containers I use to organize peg board:
    • Shelf 003.207.99 (holds 26 bottles on Nuvo Drops or 8 jars or Nuvo Embellishment Mousse)
    • Roll Holder 703.208.09 (perfect for holding washi tape, ribbon etc - anything you can use without having to remove it from the holder)
    • Container 203.207.98 (holds brushes, markers, pens, bottles)
    • Hook 503.356.18 (holds a roll of masking tape & double sided tape)
    • Letter Holder 403.208.15 (holds mini MISTI, color chart cards)
    • Hook 203.208.02 (holds foam tape, double sided tape, micro pore tape)
    • Clip 003.216.14 (holds handmade cards)
    • VARIERA 103.031.48 (not a part of the peg board system, I use it to store various charts)
    • ALEX drawer unit 401.962.41. The two top drawers have dividers which help me organize my space.
    • Top drawer divider is KUGGIS 002.802.08, it doesn’t perfectly fit in the drawer, but it works for sorting and organizing small things.
    • Second from the top drawer has a different insert - EKET 303.543.30, it organizes my embossing powders, most used inks and clear blocks.
Other IKEA items in my craft corner:
    • KOLON 448.811.00
    • RISATORP 202.816.31
    • SPRUTT - vertical metal unit for storing stamps - no longer available from IKEA.

Loved your craft space tour. Thank you for explaining the peg board attachment. I need something that doesn’t have to be attached to the wall, and think this may work for me, too. My craft space does triple duty (craft space, office, bedroom) and I need to maximize the space I have - I admire what you’ve done. Lots of wonderful ideas. I love Ikea, but get overwhelmed by everything in the store - your video created a great shopping list. Thank you for another great video!

I always try to pre-plan by going online first. I make lists, check them, double check them - try to visualize and later make a purchase. I too get overwhelmed, I'm a visual person and this pre-planning really helps me pick up the right things

We were just there to get this pegboard but unable to get a bracket that will affix to desk, only to the wall. I think the wall attachments will work fine for us.

Ya a, it is great of you to share your space with us. Your cards are so beautiful and you show us a way to make beauty in a craft corner...how is it that we sometimes think creativity is defined by the size of our space? You prove otherwise! Thanks again for your continual inspiration! 😀

You produce so much with such a little area. Organizing is the key but I'm amazed at what all I have and don't do; 1/10th of what you do. So inspirational - it doesn't take money, space, things to create, just a love of art. Thanks for the tour.

Dear Yana, thanks for showing us your craft corner and listing all the IKEA products you purchased for it. My family and I are moving into our new house in about 6 weeks and then I can create my first own craft room. Until now all my craft supplies are stored in 4 big SAMLA boxes from IKEA under our bench in the dining room. I only craft when my kids are in bed at night and then I have to put everything out of my boxes. When I am finished for the night until midnight, I have to put everything back in the boxes which takes me usually about 15 minutes. I am so looking forward to my craft room where I can store everything properly!

It is lovely to see someone with a compact space...those big craft rooms
look beautiful but would involve a lot of walking and stamping. I was gifted a big desk with a return and while it held more it was less functional than the 160cm length table I purchased. I have my Gemini junior to my left, adore it....shoulder /arm issues ,so l Judy love it beside me and no cranking...best investment. I love those big drawers for the stamps....they are tempting as I use baskets, cane and plastic rectangles for now. But they work! Thanks.

Wow Yana! You’ve made me rethink my craft work area. I too work out of a small space. It’s about the size of a closet and it’s filled to the rim! You’ve inspired me to take a very good look at what’s working for me and what I can do without. Although it’s difficult for me to get rid of anything cause... you know us crafters. We hoard everything! 😁 I’m going to use your cardstock make ready idea. It’s a time saver! I like how you’ve set everything up! Thank you for sharing your wonderful space with us! Hugs 🤗 all the way from Cypress, Texas! Sandi

I was just at IKEA today looking for craft room ideas! Your video was so helpful and when you mentioned Ukraine it put a smile on my face. We adopted our son Sasha, 3 years ago. He just celebrated his 17th birthday and we can’t imagine our lives without him. Hoping to get back to Ukraine for a visit, soon!

Thank you for showing your craft area, it helps since I also do not have a lot of room.

Glad it was helpful! I have since moved to a different area and it has more room, but I still try and keep it every limited and compact.

I used to draw, make diy cards, anything that has to do with color pens and pretty card stocks. Then marriage and motherhood happened, I set my passion aside in order to prioritize my family. Now, I'm planning on doing it sgain, 23 yrs later. While I'm still saving and planning what type of die cutting machine and the different kinds of supplies and rools should I buy, I'm familiarizing myself or preparing myself by watching your videos. Thank you for sharing your passion thru your videos. A fan from the Philippines.

Yana cute space. Just something to keep your eye on... The Alex shelve bottoms will tend to start sagging if you put too much heavy stuff in the drawer. I had to redo mine. Watch out with all those ink pads. Love the peg board.

I love the peg board I must get one of those. I store my embossing powders and a lot of other things like that in a drawer I get the white round labels and emboss or color in the label and then stick it to the jar lid so I can see all the colours when I open the drawer. Also maybe you can split up your recollections cube storage and put one cube each on top of the expidit for little used items.

First, I just want to say that you look super cute in your overalls and white t-shirt. your bare footed style completes the look! And I love the design of your craft corner! You have utilized your small space so. well. I took a few notes because I think your basic layout (flipped for me, a rightie)would be perfect for me. Those peg board units seem to be well designed. nice set up, Yana.

thanks, Ruth! These overalls are my favorite 😁 yes, I'm so happy with my current set up! I'm sure I'll change something along the way, maybe add something else, but it's just perfect for me right now 😊
