When you're just getting started with fashion illustration, drawing figures can be really intimidating. In this video, I wanted to share this quick and easy fashion illustration tutorial that doesn't require any figure drawing at all! If you're a total beginner to fashion illustration and you just want to enjoy sketching and drawing pretty gowns and dresses, this is the video for you. I made the illustration in this tutorial using pencils and watercolors, but feel free to use whatever materials you like best. Hope this tutorial helps!

Thanks for sharing how you mix your paints. So shades of pink are created from varying the ratio of red, white and yellow ochre, i.e. salmon is yellowist, sweet pink has more white etc? Like the names you give to shades of pink. They are lovely and easy to remember.

Yes! I like using different ratios to make different shades of pink. You can also use different shades of red mixed with white only to make even more pink colors. ☺️💕
