I used Sr Suntour Raidon 34 130mm for about about 2000kms with one big service. My only complaint about the fork was no low speed compression adjustment and I managed to lose the compression / lockout dial cap which I had to buy for 10€. For trail dc use it was performing amazingly for what it is.
Stick a Shockwiz on it and tune it the 21st century way. Manually guessing pressures/sag/rebound and how many tokens to add to move from linear to progressive rate is so old fashioned!

the real way to test a suspension is with speed or braking downhill it will test how much the suspesion moves and jitters my bike has a moderate suspension as it can handle bumps,but does not go down during braking.a good one feels solid and doesnt move around while the bike is braking or crawling to a stop

It's the xcr air, I got a new one with black stanchions from warranty and it's not the worst. However it feels kinda nasty brand new and I had to disassemble it to put some foam rings in and it's decent for sub $250
Personally, if I'm just riding on paved streets I have both close to the max rating for that tire for less rolling resistance. I do a good mix of trail and town/city riding and I've always found it preferable to run higher pressure on roads and pavements. I'm not particularly fit and in my late 40s so a younger fitter man may not notice much difference. You will sacrifice a little grip on slick pavement running a high psi but just don't fall off. Simple 😁
