We cannot know "if a market is heading higher" just because it has higer highs and lows... only we know is that "it has been rising so far", but where to next? That way of thinking when trading is a disaster in the long term.

For making money in trading, you really don't need to know where is market heading. You just need to follow your edge ( a system works for you to profit in bull & bear market ) with right mindset and management. That way of thinking makes trading beautiful.
