In this clip, Jason Lee spoke about his brother’s passing, and he detailed being angry for various reasons, including wanting to go after his brother’s opps. Jason then spoke about his brother telling him a story about his brother being robbed a week before the incident, which led to Jason organizing people to go after them. I was actually there that night to go bowling, and actually had spoken to Rodney shortly before he entered the party at El Dorado Bowl and we were talking about our kids. He had just had his only child in I believe January and I had my first child in December. I’d known Rodney since Jr High School. Played on many basketball teams together and considered him a good friend. If he liked you, he was the biggest jokester in the world. But if he didn’t, you had a major problem. Funny thing is you would see him out at a club by himself-normally at the bar… and he’d have a soda😂. I can remember going into a club and as I’m scanning the girls in the crowd, someone sticks their finger in my ear. I turn around quickly pissed off ready to fight, and it’s Rodney sitting there trying to keep a straight face. All you could do was laugh. That was him. He was a 6’5” 250 or something pound kid if he liked you. I used to see Jason around-but never knew he was Rodney’s brother until the funeral. The female, who’s name I won’t say, shot at another female outside where I was, and that actually made me leave. The next morning when I went to see my son I remember it like yesterday, his mom saying “do you know a Rodney?” I said “yeah, a couple.” She said “the tall light one. I don’t really know him though.” I said , “yeah that’s Rodney Townsend. I was just talking to him last night.” She said, “Well, he got killed last night at the bowling alley.” I almost dropped my son because it shook me. Ironically, his daughter and my daughter are now great friends and she has spent many of nights in my home. I refer to her as my other kid . In a way it feels like a piece of my guy is still around. RIP to a real one. A real friend. 69-97

Listen I've never lost a loved one to violence (thank god) also have never been to prison (thank god) but 22 years is a loooooooong time to survive prison. I can't even remember all the stuff I've done in 22 years. You may not even survive 22 years. Depending on how old you are 22 years is practically a life sentence. Be thankful they found the guilty party and they got 22 years.
With good behavior she could get out an 11 to 15 years and serve the rest of the time on parole. 22 years is not a long time for murder

All cap. First of all he just admitted to a conspiracy to murder someone. U don’t actually have to kill the person to get arrested he already admitted to the conspiracy part just to act tough. He could get up too 25 years to life for just attempting to kill someone that’s how dumb he is. Second of all he says I’m not gonna name names but one of them is my brother in law. How hard would it be for the cops to figure out who that is. So he is dry snitching on himself and his brother in law. Third of all. What killers knock on the door and no one answers so they go home. 1) No one can get a conspiracy to commit murder on an unknown person. The intended target would have to have been named before a case can be built.
2) Him saying his brother-in-law doesn’t specify which brother-in-law, assuming there is more than one, and based on his earlier stories, it seems as though he had a few. Even so, his word alone isn’t enough to convict him of conspiracy, which couldn’t be a case since there is no listed target.
3) Who do u expect to shoot up an empty house, wasting ammunition and risk prison time for killing a front door? Leaving is the ONLY option when there is no possible way to complete the mission, my guy…
He has a right to tell his side of the story. There is no conspiracy. There is no exchange of value. There is just I was mad so I wanted revenge. Didn’t carry out said revenge. There is no case.
