In this clip, Jason Lee reflected on his high school days and why he opted to pursue his GED instead of attempting to graduate. He recounted selling drugs soon after but admitted to being the worst drug dealer in history. He was so bad, that his drug dealing brother who was his plug told him he wasn’t cut out for it after one night and enrolled him in college the next day.
Jason then recounted his first experience with a guy around the time he was 18. He said the guy was a friend of his and they developed a tight bond that would eventually turn into emotional and sexual attraction. Jason said they had to keep their relationship under wraps at the time because of the uninviting social climate toward homosexuality at the time. Not to mention, they both had girlfriends at the same time they were engaged in their own sexual relationship.
Later, Jason Lee spoke about having a going away party in 1997, where various family members were present. He explained that he was 19 and inspired to create a better life for himself after meeting Queen Latifah. From there, Jason detailed his relationship with his brother Rodney, including him being there when other people in his life weren’t. Jason then detailed how an incident happened with his female neighbor, which led to a melee and someone telling him that Rodney was hit. Down low stories are always crazy to me, man said he had a girl and dude had a baby momma, and he wasn't concern about his sexuality but getting caught. I wonder how many men I then been around worrying about getting caught. Heart goes out to the women who be getting played by men like this.

@@TubiTuesdays Two things can be true. However at what point do you stop blaming society and take control and accountability for your own life decisions especially now. Jason could have blamed society, his parents for having such a messed up childhood at some point he understood that would get him no where and at the end he was just hurting himself. You can’t be weak minded and yet go around hurting and deceiving others because when it really comes down to it Society is not the biggest enemy it’s themselves not accepting who they are….

Having a sucky mom is far more common than you can imagine, I had one of those too.. It's sad when you know who your mother is, but don't know what it's like to have a real mother. I didn't have any female family that were like a mother to me,, even though my mom and dad both have sisters. None of my grandmothers or my aunts were ever like a mother to me. I even had a stepmother that wasn't like a mother to me either, so I definitely relate to his story. I still love my mother, I just wish she could've loved me back...
Between the mother's abuse and the early sexual encounters with men would confuse any man on who to love and trust

I can't get emotional at the clips because the bigger picture is his drive to succeed.... and that is what he leaves us with. Incredible and this should lead to a documentary, Bio, or movie. The amount of obstacles was insane and unimaginable. Can't wait to see the entire video... had me stopping to say thank you God and Universe for my blessings.
