Rajon Rondo is truly one of the best Point Guards out there. His basketball IQ is truly a freak of nature. He had accomplished so much as a Celtic. I am always going to follow him where ever he goes, but it was just so sad to see him leave Boston.. His memories will never be forgotten in Boston. #TEAMRONDO!!!
I agree, also not taking anything away from Rondo but a MAJOR reason for his succes here in Boston was due to the leadership from KG,The Truth, and Doc to him. They were his mentors both on /off the court and he listened to them. Some people don't realize how hard headed Rajon is and especially at the young age he was when he played for the C's.
Unfortunately his attitude is not good.

Kills me to see him in a another Jersey but honestly, it was for the best. Boston and Rondo weren't gonna go anywhere together. Now Rondo can compete for another title, and Boston can truly rebuild. Best wishes go to Rondo and I actually hope Dallas wins the title this year because of this move.

Watchin this Rondo and Boston tribute made me choked up inside I can only imagine how it must feel to have one of ur main guys go ahead and leave n play for another team. And now he just got another tribute from the 2nd best franchise. What a remarkable player. Let’s be honest Celtic Fans, we are proud of him winning a ring even if it was the Lakers. It’s not like he left Celtic City for LA. He had some ups and downs to get to that point. Became a journeyman and a vital piece for that team. My favorite Celtic and player of All Time. Couldn’t be more proud.

I wasnt a Celtic fan because I couldnt stand Kevin Garnett but I watched them because I was a Rondo fan. I'm a die hard Mavericks fan so when my Mavs got Rondo I was all giddy like a little kid. Seeing Boston give Rondo so much love does do something to you as a sports fan. I honestly do want to see Boston be a serious contender now that KG is gone. I want to see my Mavs win another one though.

Biggest takeaway for me - the fact that this guy went at #21 is insane. And 2006 was a bad draft. Seriously go look at the players taken ahead of Rondo. It's hilarious.
