      But it's always been clear that Albert and Michel run the show (their egos meant they split years ago - there are hilarious tv progs where the culinary genii do actually 'try' to work together)... Next gen Alain and Michel Jr are clearly brilliant, but if you stick one of them cooking with their father/uncle, they aint gonna question the older generation!

      Marco enters: "Albert isnt here is he?" Michel and Albert two taught Marco, and Albert was responsible for Marco's coke and booze habit in his younger days. Thats why Marco is so damned good. Also the reason why Gordon Ramsey is so good because Marco gave Gordon the same treatment. Iron sharpens iron.

    I have always been a huge fan of Michel & Albert Roux & it’s lovely to see Michel cooking with Alain. However, all of the Roux family are masters of their craft.

    I can not express how delighted I was to find this video. For years, I have been discovering the joys of cooking with recipes from Albert and Michel . My guests never failed to praise the food, and I loved learning. AND NOW, to see MIchel......... It is wonderful that this family's art of cuisine is being passed on to the next generation. I was about to cook the Tresse de Saumon et Barbue au GIgembre for a special dinner, but I think I will try this instead. Salutations et Mercie Mille Fois!

    So reminds me of my family teaching all the "youngesters" to cook, once you experience life itself you see the teachings. Yes, the younger are going for something, but there is a memory on why to do it the old way.

    Thank goodness for CZcams so we can always learn great cooking from Michel Roux, Sr. I'm sure he is greatly missed by his family as well as his fans. I hope to someday eat at Alain's table at the Waterside Inn.

      The first thing first I can feel is that both was not really comfortable together... 00:18. It was hard for Michel to realize he's son didn't follow hes advice and receipt as he teach him. As well for Alain was hard to not be able to elaborate the receipt of he's father.

    But I know the feeling when you understand you're better than your father/hero. Proud...? Sad...?
    It seems to me that the Roux-family can enjoy extremely good food-craftsmanship no matter. I would lick the plate from anything made by such fine chefs!
