Ah so cool! I'm an incoming freshman this year and I'm in the new Diamond Village in a single sadly because of COVID but still exciting. I'm looking forward to it. Honestly DU was my dream school ever since middle school since it was close to home and it was such a beautiful campus. I took swimming classes, skating lessons, and gymnastics. Can't wait to become a part of the DU community!
Iâm strongly considering DU, as well as CSU FC and CU Boulder. Iâd like to major in business. My biggest concern is honestly the massive price difference. My family makes decent money, but I still struggle to justify the $20,000+ premium for DU. Small classes are really important to me. I donât want to go to a huge school.
which did you end up deciding on?
yes, which did you end up choosing??
Cu Denver or msu are really good. From what Iâve heard people absolutely love msu. And cu Denver has a really good business program. What Iâve learned is that you donât need to go to an expensive school to have a good experience, expensive schools are often pretty lonely. Just go to where ever you can afford, which will typically be a uni that u live close enough to in order to still live at home. Dorms cost way too much.
This is my dream school (want to study psychology) so you answering my questions about my dream school is really helpful. thx
Anytime! Lmk if you have any more!!đ
This was awesome!
Iâm actually starting DU this fall for graduate school!
Aw thank you! I'm glad you liked it!!
I hope you love DU!!
How do you like the graduate program and what graduate Program are you in?
Iâm starting this year too I actually saw her at the student q&a when I visited
Super helpful! Social life? Dating scene? Is it a huge party or tame?
Wow This is going to help me with going to DU thank u so much for the information
Thank you, guys! This answered a lot of my questions AND gave me a lot of things I wouldn't have thought of! After y'all lived at towers, what dorm did you go to?
yay! I'm glad we could help!!
After Towers we went to Nelson, which we both really liked! It's easy and convenient having the dining hall downstairs
Im considering DU! I was wondering if you feel like it is too small of a school... I love school spirit, activities, sports, and friends.... Whats your opinion ! thank you!!!
How is the fraternity life on campus? Also you spoke on diversity on campus do you think the school makeup in where they lack in other areas?
Respectfully,
Thanks đ

I just got accepted here for the MSW graduate program. Are there different dorms for graduate students?
As a transfer student they are wanting us to live in TLC housing. Is there anyway to get from underneath that to stay somewhere else a 28 year old coming from Texas? I would prefer university lofts or centennial Towers. Any advice you can offer?
I also go to DU!! I'll be a 2nd year in Fall 2018, and I would like to second everything they said. However, in my experience I enjoyed geography class. đ
Haha I'm actually taking it next yearđ I hope it's not bad!!

Hi! I just took a tour of DU today and I was just wondering do you think joining a sorority is a good idea there? Also thank you so much, this video was so helpful!
Honestly it's up to you! I know girls that loved it but there are also lots of girls that didn't join. Regardless, you'll be able to make tons of friends on campus!
just got d mail frm the uni n im accepted into ms buss analytics prog
i really dk whether to go with it or not
I am a junior in Chicago public schools. What was it like going to Denver and just and advice in general regarding the college search process?
The lack of diversity was shocking, but it's been growing. Everyone here is really nice and it's a cool change in scenery. The weather is way better than Chicago and there's a lot to do! As for advice, I would say figure out what you need/want most from a college. For me, it was smaller classes in a new state. I hope that helps!!
How academically demanding is DU (1 to 10) ?
Help, I need some advice. I'm just starting my college search. My favorite school is Boston College, but I am starting to look at DU. I am a big skier, I ski like 20-30 days a season, in the northeast. I always loved skiing in Colorado, and the thought of only being an hour away from Winter Park is AWSOME! I want to study International Relations, and have a 3.94 GPA out of 4, yet to take the SAT. Should I apply to DU?
Absolutely 100% apply. That will just give you more options when it comes time to decide!
Yes! There are tons of places to ski that are about an hour's drive (ie breck, keystone, abason). Lots of kids here ski so you can always find a buddy to go with! The International Relations is one of the best majors here! I think you should definitely apply, good luck :)
I am thinking of attending DU for graduate school, any advise on how this school differs from a public university?
I'm an undergraduate, so I don't know as much about the graduate program. I'm sorry! But I would say it really depends on what areas the university specializes in. I think that's really important for getting the most out of your masters.
I got acceptance from Denver for this fall 2022 for MCS program.
They have mentioned we have to take placement exam to choose functional course.
Is this test mandatory?
What is this test all about?
Hows the university?
Hey dear love from India, your videos is helpful as well as funny that make me smile đsee u soon
How much does it really cost
so what do you find different about a private university compared to a public? (I'm doing a gap year right now and am going to attend DU next year, but I went to a private Catholic high school and really hated it lmao, so I'm really hoping DU doesn't give off rich private school vibes)
To be honest... I feel like it does. But I think it's because I come from a very diverse high school so I was not used to the lack of diversity. On the other hand, all of my friends love it here and everyone can find a sense of community!
LiaStewy okay really good to know thanks for your honest answer!
Anytime! Feel free to reach out if you have anymore questions!!
Iâm applying to DU right now and I really wanna go because I want to major in international affairs and they have a whole school for that. Iâm just so nervous Iâm not gonna get in :(
Yass girl! The international studies program is amazing!! Fingers crossed you get inđ€
I'm applying for the same major too! Don't stress we'll be fine eh lol
Hi I'm from Chile and I want to study in the US. Can you explain me how "minor and major" work?
Major is the thing you actually get a degree in, a minor is something you are interested in but arenât committed to get a full degree in I believe
so a major is what your degree is in and what your classes will gear towards, a minor is a âsmallerâ interest so you donât need as many credits to create a minor because itâs not your âmainâ (major) focus of your degree but itâs still a focus
I'm a senior this year in Texas and I just got my acceptance letter for DU :) Any advice??
Congrats!! I would definitely suggest taking a tour of the university and seeing how you feel on campus!
No school spirit??
Hey I got accepted here and I was wondering how the frat life is and if itâs worth getting into? Also if you have any gay friends how is that for them?
Hey! I'm not in Greek life but I have plenty of friends (both guys and girls) who love it. I also have gay friends here and they fit right in. Everyone is super accepting so there shouldn't be any issues!
Hows the gas out there lmaoo
You gotta go see for yourselfđ
Would you say that people at DU are racist? Full blown racists or microaggression type of racists?
