Wow! Decision day is slowly getting closer and closer and I am really struggling on narrowing down my college options and the basic DePaul website didn't really answer all the questions that I have. But your video reeeaaaallly helped and gave me a lot more insight into Depaul. Thank you!!

DePaul is one of the best urban universities in the nation. The Lincoln Park campus is like the finest neighborhood in Paris. It’s truly amazing!

If you're a business major or a theatre major i'ts absolutely worth it! Add in scholarships and financial aid. DePaul has the third best business school in all of Chicago right behind the two best business schools in the entire country respectively with NU and UC.

Is the Biology course in the Loop Campus? I'd prefer the Loop Campus but, I'd do either or. (On my little sisters account.)

Lincoln Park definitely feels like a suburb, it has a different atmosphere than the rest of the city

How is social life at school? Is it hard to make friends ?
It's important to get involved and join different organizations because you have a better chance of making friends. I find that you have to make an active choice to get involved or else it will feel like you don't have a social life.
I go to DePaul too & I think of Lincoln Park as the suburbs too even though it's not haha its just way quieter compared to the loop

She said business majors should be in loops, I believe, because a lot of the classes are there.

Are you required to stay on campus/in the dorms your first year or can you commute/rent a place?
No, DePaul doesn't require you to live on campus your first year, but most students do!

What do you know about the depaul film school?
I don't know a lot about our film school, but its really good since it's one of the reasons that many students choose DePaul especially if they choose to major in film.
when does winter break start and end ?
Winter break starts after Thanksgiving and it ends after New Year's. Typically you would go back to school the first week of January.

no, the dorms are closed during breaks
@@allisonmangurali what happens if we decide to take classes during the winter intersession? Do you know how housing works in that situation, as in do we need to pay extra from our initial housing deposit to stay on campus for those classes?

When did you get accepted I did early application and I still haven’t gotten a letter back?
I don't remember exactly but I applied around October and then I got accepted end of November!

What happens if I'm undecided?
Hi, fellow DePaul student here! When you are undecided you start taking classes in LAS (Liberal Arts and Social Sciences) and you work with your advisor to figure out what you like and what type of classes you should try out!
I got accepted to DePaul but when I went to visit it, I felt sooooo squash. Of how little room and tight space is in

What's the student job market like?
Room s are ver small
Dorm rooms are very small
Very friggin overpriced. You can't live there w/o spending a fortune and you can't PARK, even if you LIVE THERE
Take your cars and put them in YOUR DePaul garage and stop taking all our spaces.
Don't bother to look up the ridiculous crime rate.
