  • Hey!
Today I'm doing something a little different. I have had this SureFire G2 Nitrolon Flashlight sitting in my desk drawer for about 6 years now. It stopped working on me after 4 years in the Marine Corps and I hadn't had the heart to throw it away. I was finally cleaning stuff out and decided to just give it a shot to see if I could fix it.
I ended up bringing it back to life and look forward to getting many more years out of it!

Yours looked immaculate compared to mine. I would never have figured out how to get this apart without the video. Thanks!

Do you screw the plastic plunger all the way in tight or leave a little gap for the button to play?

Not viable service maintenance. Once the twisty mecha has been removed the rivet may not be able to be hammered back in securely. Just replace the twisty internals with a proper Z41 McClicky upgrade, that would be the most appropriate step to do......

Mine doesn’t pass the short test. What else can I do?

Hi. Im a fan from the philippines ,May i ask if it's normal for a flashlight with press button switch to make a little rattling sound specifically on the tail cap when you shake it? The flashlight works just fine tho, it's just that rattling sound bothers me i wonder what's the cause of that. I hope you can answer my question thanks a lot!

That was cool. The rivet part looks like the only tough piece to put back. Seems like it should have been designed better. A cheapie part, that compromises a tactical light seems pretty dumb. Gonna try it. I don't think the caps are available to buy or get replaced from Surefire.
