Great video! I used to change the oil on my 78 but I let the dealership take care of my 6G. Great to know that these vehicles are do it yourself friendly.
I wouldn’t mind taking it to the dealership but they take forever and it’s a wasted day :(

Okay, great video.. However, never use dirty oil to lubricate the new o-rings.. Shake a bottle of the new oil.. Open the top and get a small amount from the cap., Use this oil to lubricate the filter cap o-rings 😊

Not that I’m aware of, this is the ford oem plug :/

I know it has been a subject of debate but on my 2023 2.7 Wildtrak the service manual calls for 6 qts of oil not 7. The older manuals state 7 qts.

you don't have to change the o-rings every oil change
Yes it’s wise to change them every time. The new filter comes with it so why would you not?
also, get a Ronin, UPR, or Femco drain plug and stop making a mess
First you are using a Coolant Drain pan not a Oil Drain pan, if you have the right drain pan you would not need a transfer pump, second you should have pig mats down to be able to get rid of your hazmat and not cardboard. And why are you selling French oil ? Working around vehicles you should have shoes of boots on in case you drop a tool or spill hot oil, not flip flops.

nice video. enjoyed the details of the oil change. However, I recommend you purchase a RONIN FACTORY Ford Oil Drain Plug. I use one and it really helps with ZERO drip oil changes on my 2017 FORD F150 3.5L Ecoboost. Merci
